NEW MOON IN ARIES: The Spiritual Warrior
“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” ~ Hermes Trismegistus ~
The New Moon arrives at 15 degrees of Aries on Friday, April 5 at 4:50 AM EDT
The dawning of a New Moon is an auspicious event. We cannot see it, for the pairing of the Moon and the Sun do not allow for the reflection of the Sun’s light upon the Moon. When it is not her time to shine, the stars shine ever more brightly. On an inner level, so do we. During the dark of the Moon, we know that she is there. This is called faith.
The past month has been vigorously challenging on many fronts. We are emerging now with increased strength, fortitude, and confidence; for we have navigated these recent challenges with courageous fervency. Within the realm of what is a visibly dark sky, there is within the darkness of our own consciousness, nascent stirrings of ancient knowing.
At this juncture, we are highly subjective and necessarily so. The time is ripe in which to fully realize our own inner knowing without the unwanted influences of the outer world. As we fully inhabit our completeness, the world greets us with opportunities completely tailored to our soul’s authentic path.
Aries The Ram is a masculine cardinal fire sign embodying the archetypes of The Pioneer, The Warrior, The Daredevil, The Loner, and The Survivor. Aries exudes the qualities of individuality, assertiveness, innovativeness, independence, courage, aggression, passion, ferocity, and leadership. Keep in mind, that often times an Aries person does not naturally possess these characteristics, but rather, has come into this incarnation to explore and learn how to embody and express them. For this, it takes the inner Warrior to realize our full nature as we ward off the outer voices which have quelled the magnificence of our being. In doing so, there is loneliness. Afterall, The Ram is a loner scaling the mountainside.
As with every sign, there is an evolutionary scale. wherein each individual expresses. While we possess the inherent potential and soul knowledge for fully evolved expression, some of the qualities and characteristics of a sign within us are still in process. We strive to bring those hidden areas of ourselves; both the flawed and the virtuous, into consciousness; for consciousness itself is the great emancipator.
Wherever Aries resides in our natal chart, the next three days will energize that particular area with the spirit of warriorship, urging us to begin anew. It is an opportunity to discover deeper layers of the Aries expression within us. It is an opportunity in which to become more conscious. New Moons require privacy and introspection. It is within the quiet solitude of this time that revelation visits upon us.
We are embracing the wound of the unrealized self, rising to the emergence of a deeper level of our individuality. We are facing the places where we have shown up inauthentically. Emanating from the heart, the small still voice within unveils to us hidden aspects of our nature; yet nevertheless authentic and true. Now it takes the courage of Aries to express this profound dimension of our being.
Be both brave and tender. Wrap your arms around yourself as you prepare to enter a new arena.
As you scale the depths of your being, you will discover that the heart is a mountain in which there are embedded jewels.
What we ardently harbor in our evolved hearts will serve as cosmic grace that will lead your way.
Go forth and beam the magnificence of your being.
Aries New Moon Blessings Upon You.

NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS: Keep Looking Up
“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul… ~ Hermes Trismegistus ~
The New Moon arrives at 15 degrees of Sagittarius on Friday, December 7 at 2:20 AM EST.
The New Moon is always accompanied by an air of mystery; a sense of the unknown; a spirit of anticipation. We are about to embark upon something new. Something has ended. It could be the expression of a facet of our psyche, a style of communication, a job, a relationship, or a way of thinking that no longer serves us. We are inhabiting our intimacy with self. This emotional attunement inspires introversion, introspection, and solitude. Such a state of being may be quite subtle. The Moon often is. As she touches upon the most intimate areas of our psyches, her energy is deeply personal. As is the Moon, so are we.
A time of great respite is upon us, as the expansive Sagittarius New Moon is fueling the collective psyche with faith, hope, and optimism. There is a sense of magic in the air. As we dwell within this season of lights, we gather a glimpse of our own light. Our inner and outer vision recognize the light that is within us all. We accept and cherish that we are light unto each other.
This increment of time offers us an upward swing to the matters and circumstances of our lives. The load is lifted and carried on the wings of angels.
New Moons are a time of planting seeds. The seeds in which we are about to plant are luminous. As we plant them, we are imbued with vision and trust.
We are moving through our lives, facing struggles, challenges, and lessons, rising to the occasion of what each day brings. We are functioning to capacity, coping, reckoning with what is. Out of the blue, we wake up one day knowing that all is well. It is as if the universe has pressed a cosmic automatic reset button within our being. We are primed for awakening. We see the bigger picture. We are gifted with crystalline wind chime awareness. This is such a time.
The New Moon in Sagittarius serves to invigorate our spirit.
Sagittarius The Centaur is a mutable masculine fire sign ruled by Jupiter. Sagittarius embodies the archetypes of The Wanderer, The Visionary, The Scholar, The Optimist, The Truthsayer, The Teacher, and The Healer. Sagittarius is a Lover Of Humankind. The Sagittarian speaks with a universal voice. They offer us inspiration, spirituality, optimism, faith, and truth.
Through the eyes of Sagittarius we see the bigger picture. There is fervency about society, humanity, and world affairs. Sagittarius expects us to expect a lot from each other.
The last New Moon before the beginning of a new year marks a period of preparation for the year to come. This is a time of deep deep self-reflection and contemplation of what may lie before us. Upon the closure of the Sagittarius season we arrive at the Winter solstice.
The Centaur is a poignant symbol. As creatures, we are bound to the earth. As spirits, we shoot our arrows beyond the clouds not knowing where they will land. The arrows are like prayers. Sagittarius reminds us of the human condition as both creatures of the earth and spirits of the heavens melded into one form. As Pierre Teilhard de Chardin so eloquently stated: “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
Wonder. Wander. Watch and listen. Choruses of angels are whispering our songs. The cup is half full. Our hearts are overflowing.
Keep looking up!
Sagittarius New Moon Blessings Upon You.

FULL MOON IN ARIES: The Courage To Feel
“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul… ~ Hermes Trismegistus ~
The Full Moon arrives at 2 degrees of Aries on Monday, September 24 at at 10:52 PM EDT.
Our Moon. We are amazed by her. She is ever constant. Even within her ever changing nature; from New to Full to New again, she is present. All that we have to do is look up. If the night sky is cooperating, we have a spectacle that is all her own. Even if we cannot see her; she is there. It is her shapeshifting nature that contributes to the constancy of her counsel.
During a Full Moon cycle, we literally “see the light.” The light of the Sun’s full ebullient reflection is cast upon the Moon; thus, upon our own psyches as well. We are primed for awakening and revelation.
Each lunation is accompanied by fellow planetary travelers, who imbue the lunar characteristics with additional layers of nuance, meaning, and experience. Thus, we are graced with the gift of multi-layered consciousness which in and of itself assists us in accepting and understanding the complex beings that we are. On this particular leg of our journey, the Moon has her own escorts. Mercury, Saturn, and Chiron are all traveling closely with her. Thus, they are companions; not only to each other; but to us as well.
This makes for a most complex array of energies that are bound to bring difficult yet profound matter to the surface. Within such times as these, courage is our guide. As Aries The Ram is the quintessential sign of courage, we have The Ram’s assistance to face whatever rises to the surface of our conscious awareness.
Aries The Ram is a cardinal fire sign ruled by Mars. Aries embodies the archetypes of The Warrior, The Pioneer, and The Loner. The qualities of Aries include courage, instinctiveness, assertiveness, passion, enthusiasm, individuality, innovativeness, creativity and leadership. When Aries is immersed in the lower vibrations, it expresses as immaturity, impatience, selfishness, anger, violence, arrogance, recklessness, and tyranny. When we are willing to embrace both the shadow and the light of our sacred being-ness, we become primed for true transformation layered with intimate compassion for both self and others in recognition of the complexity of being human. As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries speaks to our primal instincts. As a mountainous creature, The Ram is no stranger to going it alone.
This is a time encumbered with loneliness. Even amidst our loved ones, there is an existential experience of solitary embodiment. It is within the insulation of such aloneness that we have the space in which to allow for emergence of those dimensions of our psyche that have been all too painful to recognize and bear. Despite the discomfort and edginess of this lunation, there is an opportunity to clear out the debris of shadow elements that have only served to keep us rigidly attached to our suffering. In order to emancipate ourselves from such a state, we muster the courage to feel. Feel all that is there. Do not shy away from it. It is not a permanent condition. For now, the pain and emotionality of our condition serves as a wave that will wash us ashore.
Chiron, The Wounded Healer, is right by The Moon’s side, thus bringing the wounded expressions of Aries to the fore. These wounds are ones of identity crisis, fear, and difficulty in being the magnificent individuals that we are. It is where we are called to be true to ourselves within our inherent nature. Whenever Chiron appears, we are catapulted deeply into our soul wound, which ironically, is the very arena of our ultimate healing. Wherever the wound resides, lies our greatest capacity to facilitate others with their own healing. Chiron is powerful; possessing healing gifts, talents, compassion, insight, and ultimately, a befriending of the core soul wound with which we have incarnated.
Saturn’s role during this lunation serves to bring structure, discipline, and strength to the matters in our life that we are tending to, bringing with it a certain melancholic nature, yet one in which bears great wisdom and profundity. Saturn requires us to do the grunt work of whatever we wish to accomplish whether in the outer world or on the inner plane.
Mercury will lighten us up in the midst of all of this heaviness serving as the communicator between the array of archetypes that are upon us. We possess an inner communicator, one in which serves as an ambassador to our splintered selves. Mercury serves this purpose. Mercury is the only God who can traverse the underworld, the earth plane, and the heavens, all three. Mercury ties it all together for us, thus enhancing our self-understanding and the manner in which to navigate this time.
We are only two days into Autumn. The days are still mostly equal in light and darkness. This is an optimal time in which to embrace both the darkness and the light. We have an energetic balance in which to navigate both realms. As A Courses In Miracles says: Darkness is the absence of light. As the days grow shorter, we are inclined to travel within unknown realms. There is tremendous power in darkness. Things are born of darkness. So darkness, we must not fear.
Trust that during this time, we are on a fast track for awakening. No matter what the outcome, we will be served.
In order to become real, we must feel. When we are strong, we belong; not only to ourselves, but to the oneness with all.
ARIES FULL MOON BLESSINGS UPON YOU.
“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.” ~
“Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing.”

FULL MOON TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE IN AQUARIUS: KARMIC INHERITANCE
The mantram of the astrologer is: AS ABOVE, SO BELOW. This is my prayer, my incantation; as I serve to translate the divine urging of this sacred juncture that is set before us.
The Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse arrives at 4 degrees of Aquarius on Friday, July 27 at at 4:20 PM EDT.
We are perhaps in one of the most intense and prolific ecliptic cycles in decades. As all eclipse cycles stir things up and portend change, this particular Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is accompanied by challenging planetary and nodal aspects which set it apart from recent ecliptic events. We are at the midpoint of this season of eclipses. We have already experienced the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer on July 12th. We will have yet another Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11th. All three of these are intertwined within a complex network of powerful energetic forces which compel and impell. This is a very long eclipse, of which its duration is 3 hours and 55 minutes. While we will not be able to view it from the United States, is has no less effect upon us.
Eclipses shed a spotlight on a very specific realm of our life. They bear uncomfortability within the self. As the Moon becomes temporarily blocked by the earth’s shadow, obstructing the sun’s light, we are driven to temporarily dwell within the shadowy realms of our own psyches. In doing so, in allowing this process to unfold, we are facilitating the expressive release of our inner light. The greatest gold of our being lies beneath the shadow.
The dark matter within the spiraling whirlpools of our psyches is being washed ashore. We are standing at the shoreline. Swim out to greet it. For many during this time, it is as St. John of the Cross referred to as “the dark night of the soul.” In the midst of this black night, we encounter our shadow. Welcome it. The acknowledgement of this painful realm of our consciousness longs for recognition and love before the light of transformation can stream forth to illuminate our way. This process may not be painless; yet, by embracing our inner sage, we can see ourselves to the other side of our current reality. We are in the throes of a paradigm shift within our own lives.
The challenges of the human condition, whether within the realm of collective global events or personal human affairs, are heightened in such a way that it may seem that there is no hope; no way out or through. Eons of historic karmic inheritance are reigning upon us in ways which are provoking stress and sadness of an immense nature. There is trepidation of loss. Keep in mind; no matter what your life challenges may hold at this time, there is a magnitude of potential in which to eliminate our negative inherited karmic patterns so that we may reap the rewards of our positive inherited karma.
The ground beneath our feet is shifting in seismic proportions. While this writing is not intended to portend such dire circumstance which appear as hopeless, it is helpful and validating to know that life as we know is being swept away so that we may open a portal into our own lives in which to make room and welcome the next level of our path. Relationships of significance, ones in which we have invested with our heart and soul, are falling away. The gravitational pull that we are experiencing is leading us to our greater good and the greater good of those around us. Even though the present circumstances may be devastating, take heart. I ask you to take heart. For in order to embrace and participate in our own unique and evolutionary process, crisis first presents itself thrusting us into a higher dimension of our core self. We are in the midst of casting off the dust and dander of negative patterns that have restrained us from virtually everything our hearts desire. We may not have recognized until now, the level of oppression, stress, and unfulfillment that we have been living with day to day for so long. Now, we have a golden opportunity in which to break free of calcified inherited negative karmic patterns that have inhibited and prevented us from harvesting the karmic gifts and rewards which we have earned from the distant past. We now claim an evolved karmic inheritance, one in which we have long awaited.
We have been the road block to ourselves. Once we recognize that, we will emerge from this time facing a wide open highway that leads to a bridge to the other side, which if followed, will allow us to channel our highest self. New experiences lift us out of our comfort zones, no matter how negative and miserable they may have been. We have been comfortable in the most painful of circumstances, not knowing how to change; unable to gather the courage to take the leap. Now, we have no choice, for our circumstances will dictate the new directions in which to go. And yet within these unwanted experiences and situations, we have free will. We are endowed with choice. We can say Yes! Bring it on! Clear the way!
Open your heart. Stride toward the unknown. This re-orientation is an initiation. Life as we have known it will be no more. Sadness may erupt. Allow the pain to flow through you. Tears cleanse the body and nourish the earth.
Within this pinnacle moment of high emotion, we have the crystalline, clear minded, detached, truth- sayer company of Aquarius The Water Bearer. Let the waters flow from and to you. What you have reaped, you will sow. What you have sown, you will reap. There is no duality of punishment or reward. There is only inheritance. Honor who you are, who you have been, and who you will become.
Then is now. Now is Then. We are walking between the worlds.
Aquarius Full Moon Eclipse Blessings Upon You.

Karma brings us ever back to rebirth, binds us to the wheel of births and deaths. Good Karma drags us back as relentlessly as bad, and the chain which is wrought out of our virtues holds as firmly and as closely as that forged from our vices. ~ Annie Besant ~
Things don’t just happen in this world of arising and passing away. We don’t live in some kind of crazy, accidental universe. Things happen according to certain laws, laws of nature. Laws such as the law of karma, which teaches us that as a certain seed gets planted, so will that fruit be.

FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN: The Soul’s Mountain
The mantram of the astrologer is: AS ABOVE, SO BELOW. This is my prayer, my incantation; as I serve to translate the divine urging of this sacred juncture that is set before us.
The Full Moon arrives at 6 degrees of Capricorn on Thursday, June 28 at at 12:52 AM EDT
The splendor and magnificence of a Full Moon transports us from the ordinary to the extraordinary. While Full Moon cycles provide us with high energy and emotional magnitude, they also stir the cauldron of our multidimensional souls; for the soul contains a potpourri of dualistic ingredients. The Full Moon is a magnificent mirror which provides us with an opportunity to look within; to really look. As we look deeply within, we are graced with the ability to look without as well; for Full Moons are quite relationally revealing; offering insight, illumination, and awakening.
We often traverse our lives in a sort of trance state, weighted down by emotional stagnation; an accumulation of wounds, sorrows, and woes. At this juncture we are suffering from a state of ennui, a world weariness which often leads us to boredom, depression, lethargy, and restlessness. We are also filled with a sense of heightened responsibility within our own lives as well as for the collective conditions of humanity. While this Capricorn Full Moon, fueled by Saturn, will highlight these themes within our own lives, we are imbued with the opportunity for both fervent and disciplined emotional expression. As we honor the realm of the Moon which is our emotional milieu we pave our own road to healing and self-realization.
The cosmic tone is one of elevated seriousness and the call to situations which require great responsibility. We may not exactly welcome additional responsibility, however, rising to the challenge of what is set before us links us to true devotion of the moment. The Capricorn Moon will be the grounding force providing us with steadfastness, patience, and adherence to the path. Thus, we look to the qualities of Capricorn to see us through this arduous and trans-formative interlude of time.
Capricorn The Sea-Goat is a cardinal feminine earth sign ruled by Saturn. Capricorn embodies the archetypes of The Hermit, The Father, and The Prime Minister. Capricorn loves a challenge, even in the face of being daunted by what lies ahead. The Sea-Goat is an ancient mythological creature with great stamina. He will climb the highest mountain and swim the widest ocean to arrive at his destination of accomplishment.
Capricorn needs solitude in order to commune with the deep complexity that it’s ruler, Saturn, brings. While there is a tremendous desire for great accomplishment, there is also a deep seated fear of failure. Capricorn is daunted by the unconscious life; that place deep within our psyche. It is here where one is being called to express in this lifetime. The time for realization of our destiny is now. Within the patterns of our destiny, there is free will.
During this lunation, Saturn, Capricorn’s ruler, is coupled with the Moon. This carries a heightened tone of seriousness for Capricorn. Saturn requires much of us during our lifetime. It speaks to discipline, integrity, accomplishment, and the sincere intent to walk the path.Whatever that path may be, and wherever that path may lead, Saturn only wishes for us to stand in our own authority as we make this incarnational journey. Some questions we may ask ourselves at this time: Who is the author of my own life? And if I am not the author of my life, who is then authoring it for me? Am I living from a place of of my own self-authority? Am I expressing my life force from a place of true authenticity? Where along the way do the brambles, sticks, and stones need clearing so that I may align myself with my soul’s true calling? If nothing else, we are embracing this time with a seriousness that is both sacred and necessary. The ever seeming mountain that stands before us, once climbed, is our gateway to karmic cleansing.
This Capricorn Full Moon cycle is facilitating our journey with the drive, strength and grounded determination that we need to move inner mountains. By doing so, we will clear a path. Once this path unfolds before us we will find determined strength to climb what we have once perceived as an unreachable peak. Once we reach the summit and see what lies on the other side, we will not be disappointed. Even if the journey has been a bit messy, a long awaited realization will have congealed to perfection.
Capricorn needs solitude in order to commune with the deep complexity that it’s ruler, Saturn, brings. While there is a tremendous desire for great accomplishment, there is also a deep seated fear of failure. Capricorn is daunted by their own greatness. Wherever Capricorn resides in your natal chart, is an area of great profundity, one which must be adhered to from a place of authenticity and self-authority. It is an area where you are being called to high achievement. And yet, this very realm may be challenged along the way with limitations, setbacks and delays. As a result, Capricorn can suffer from the proverbial inferiority complex. One of Capricorn’s most significant evolutionary tasks is to stay the course with the understanding that there are no shortcuts in attaining one’s goal. Capricorn’s ruler, Saturn, will test one’s character and self-confidence over and over again. This is when we call upon our inner Sea-Goat.
A most challenging three days is upon us. The Capricorn Moon will be the grounding force providing us with steadfastness, patience, and adherence to the path. Thus, we look to the qualities of Capricorn to see us through this arduous and trans-formative interlude of time.
Capricorn The Sea-Goat embodies the qualities of authority, discipline, discipleship, solitude, accomplishment, melancholy, seriousness, determination, tenacity, boundaries, limitations and challenges. When Capricorn is out of balance, the less evolved expressions of aggressiveness, competitiveness, selfishness, avarice, depression and emotional stagnation arise. As a cardinal earth sign ruled by Saturn.
As the Moon’s softness hosts Saturn, we have an opportunity to sculpt an emotional form wherein lies the interior of profound feelings. A deep and responsible relationship with the self contributes to the inter-relational experience colored by love and expressed with integrity.
During this challenging three day interval of heaviness, know that when we pick up the load, our lives become en-lightened.
Within the realm of density, there is ebullient light. The permutation of density is destiny. Pick up your destiny, wrap your arms around it, and carry it to the mountain
Capricorn Full Moon Blessings Upon You.
With faith, discipline, and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.

CANCER SUPER FULL MOON: Emotional Alchemy
This writing is dedicated to The Divine Mother. May we know her. May she guide our emotions as they flow into the current of oceanic love.
The Super Full Moon arrives at 11 degrees of Cancer on Monday, January 1 at 9:24 PM EST.
What better way to start the New Year than with a Full Super Moon in all of her luminescence? Warmth and radiance pour forth. We are standing in the spotlight of our own illumination.
A supermoon is a term coined in modern astrology to define an event in which a Full Moon makes the closest approach to the Earth on its elliptical orbit. During such events, like the tides, our emotions run high and strong. We have been swimming vigorously through whirlpools of tears; both of joy and of sorrow. Propelled by our awareness of the fragility of life, our feelings are washed ashore. We greet them at the shoreline.
As Moon ruled Cancer is the quintessential sign of pure emotional sensitivity; our emotions are immeasurably heightened. We have pristine vision of our personal palette of sentiment that perhaps has been invisible to us in the past. Our very beings are an array of love, joy, hope, anticipation, sorrow, regret, and the daunting awareness that time is ever fleeting. We vow to cherish each and every moment. We treasure the precious people in our lives. Every-thing and every-one become even more meaningful to us. The gates of our hearts are swung more fully open.
Life looms large at The New Year. Life looms even greater during a Super Full Moon. As we combine these events, there is a sacred marriage in service to our own spiritual purification.
We think of beginning anew at the New Moon, and yet, this Full Moon is a pure beginning. As we enter the New Year infused with our own sentience, we emerge from a place of confusion into an enlightened emotional landscape. This lunation takes us to a highly elevated juncture; a towering precipice from which to leap into the oceanic waters of Divine Love. We have been swimming vigorously through whirlpools of multifaceted tears propelled by our awareness of the fragility of life. Now, our feelings are washed ashore. We greet them at the shoreline.
Cancer is a cardinal feminine water sign ruled by the Moon. Therefore, this Cancer Moon is right at home within her own rulership. The significant facets of this sign are emotions, tenderness, home, family, children, tradition, mother, healing, connection and the nurturing of self and others. Cancer’s archetypes are The Mother, The Healer, and The Invisible One.
The softness of this time is imbued with a Grand Water Trine from the Moon to Neptune to Mars-Jupiter and back to the Moon. Trines are geometric forms comprising a perfect triangle. They are beacons of flow and ease and grace. Water is the element of emotion, empathy, compassion, receptivity, and psychic sensitivity. This Mother of all Moons is keeping kind company with her planetary companions. As they accompany her, they too are assisting us so that we may access the Divine Feminine within as we embrace all that is Yin. As we soften, we open our arms and graciously receive.
Much has been settled within us. As the waters calm, there is a new seascape of the life which flows forth. Tears may spill. Let them flow. Tears cleanse our perception. Perception is our window to the world.
Light transcendant is cast upon our path; a moonglow like no other.
The Moon is within our reach. We only have to reach within.
Cancer Super Full Moon Blessings Upon You.

SCORPIO NEW MOON: Me And My Shadow
The New Moon arrives at 26 degrees of Scorpio on Saturday, November 18 at 6:42 AM EST.
We are presented over and over again with profound opportunity to begin anew. There is tremendous comfort in this. As we begin a new lunar cycle, I find myself reflecting upon what I wish to bring into consciousness during this deep and mysterious New Moon in Scorpio. New Moons present a personal venue for inner intimacy. As the Sun and Moon are aligned with each other, the energy is potent and concentrated. We are blessed with an opportunity for quietude. An inner monologue longs to be written and expressed. How will we set our internal stage?
At this juncture, Scorpio the Scorpion is inviting us to dive into the deep well of inner darkness, for it is within these depths of consciousness that transformation of the highest order awaits us.
Scorpio The Scorpian is a fixed water sign, ruled by Mars and Pluto. The qualities of death, transformation, depth, darkness, intensity, power, passion, faithfulness, bravery, and focus are ever present to us as we embark upon the inner quest. Scorpio embodies the archetypes of The Detective, The Sorcerer, The Hypnotist, and The Transformer.
The Scorpian is not a pretty creature. And yet, it is beautiful.
Wherever Scorpio resides in our natal chart is where we fully embody the darkness. It is an area of profound personal power. This realm of our deepest wounding offers tremendous opportunity for transformation within this lifetime. And yet, it can act as a blind spot that lives in exile from our greater wholeness. At this time we have the will, the vision, the capacity and the courage to face our darkness, our human shadow: that which we deem unlovable.
This place is one in which we have perhaps neglected to inhabit. It is a realm of difficult psychic, emotional, psychological and spiritual matter. While it is an area of the psyche that we have neglected, for it can feel like just too much to face and feel, this very area of trepidation is powerful beyond measure. When these emotions are faced and felt, we rise from the ashes like the phoenix, a powerful mythological symbol closely aligned with Scorpio. We die in order to be born anew.
We may find ourselves undergoing deep alchemical processes whereby transformation, transmutation and transfiguration are means for transport from the uncomfortable inner complacency which has been longing for recognition and release. Herein, beneath the darkness, lies the true gold of our inherent nature, our divine essence; the purest and highest expression of the true self.
What area of your life has reached a place of completion? Do you feel a kind of death to your old self? Can you release to the light that which no longer serves your highest good? Where do you need to take a risk? Can you recognize the dark emotions through a lens of love? Where are you meeting the shadow in the outer world and with whom? Can you behold your deepest wound as the source of your greatest gift?
The darkness is a sacred chamber.
Enter the chamber.
Your dark angel awaits you.
Embrace.
The sacred chamber is your heart.
New Scorpio Moon Blessings Upon You.

PISCES FULL MOON: Surrender
The Full Moon arrives at 13 degrees of Pisces on Wednesday, September 6 at 3:02 AM EDT
As I write, I find myself somewhat at a loss for words. The Pisces Full Moon experience is fathomless and when accompanied by it’s ruler Neptune, as this Full Moon is, it is difficult to articulate the depth of emotion and otherworldly associations that we are experiencing at this time.
As with any lunar cycle, there is a fleet of planets accompanying the Moon, imbuing her with layers of cavernous depth. These planetary travelers serve to further assist our navigation through this time. Each planet is a spaceship unto itself; a part of the planetary gestalt sailing the cosmos.
At this juncture, the guest of honor is Neptune; an embodiment of the invisible, the numinous, the sacred, the transcendent, The Divine. This is a most propitious moment in which to access the immense sensitivity residing in our emotional body that we as sentient beings inhabit. There is no escaping it. We are as open as a cloudless sky.
This is the first Full Moon following the intense eclipse cycle of the last New Moon and Full Moon. One would think that we are getting a bit of a break, however, we are in the thick of things. Eclipse cycles last far longer than their actual events. We are now integrating and synthesizing all that has emerged both internally and externally during the recent eclipses. This is a time of reckoning. The only manner in which to reconcile the astronomical shape shifting of our psyches and of our lives is to surrender. Surrender to the Unknown. Surrender to the Self. Surrender to Emotion. Surrender to the Divine.
There is no amount of personal will that can navigate this increment of time. Time is navigating us. We have expanded beyond intellectual understanding. All we can do is breath and let grace lead the way. We have to once again, find our legs. And right now, our legs are treading the watery realm of Pisces The Fishes. So tread, and swim, and paddle. Make sure that you come up for air. Pisces reminds us of our oceanic nature. By delving deeply into the mysterious realm that we now inhabit, we align with ourselves as we are lead into the next chapter of our soul’s unfolding.
We are releasing the hardened molds of self-definition that we have been living out thus far, only to find that we as we have known ourselves, are no longer. The ego is dissipating. The ground beneath our feet feels like a rip tide pulling us away from shore. Just let go. We will eventually wash ashore in a new land where we will greet an awakened self.
Change is not always visible. Change also takes place within the invisible realms of our being. The soul, the psyche, and the heart are being put through their paces. There may be something that is bubbling on the surface of your mind, a matter which you believed you had put to rest long ago, but now is revisiting with persistent yet gentle intensity. Breath into it.
This is a tender time. As a time of expanded compassion, shower some upon yourself. Allow yourself to dream. Cry. Forgive. Create. Pray. Visualize. Listen to Music. Commune with Nature; all facets of the Neptunian realm.
But mostly; just surrender.
Pisces Full Moon Blessings Upon You.
“I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had no where else to go. My own wisdom and that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day.” ~ Abraham Lincoln ~
“Always say “yes” to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? what could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say “yes” to life — and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.”
~ Eckhart Tolle ~
“Something amazing happens when we surrender and just love. We melt into another world, a realm of power already within us. The world changes when we change. the world softens when we soften. The world loves us when we choose to love the world.” ~ Marianne Williamson ~
