NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE IN CANCER: Ego and Emotion

The mantram of the astrologer is: “AS ABOVE, SO BELOW, AS UNIVERSE, SO THE SOUL.”  ~

~ Hermes Trismegistus ~

This is my prayer, my incantation; as I serve to translate the divine urging of this sacred juncture that is set before us.

The New Moon Total Solar Eclipse arrives at 10 degrees of Cancer on Tuesday, July 2 at at 2:16 PM EDT.

Solar Eclipses always occur on a New Moon. The Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, directly blocking the light of the Sun. Solar Eclipses invoke ego related needs. There is a sense of urgency for change. Our survival instincts are heightened. The changes that we need to initiate are essential to both our well being and evolution. While this journey that is beckoning to us is not mandatory curriculum, it would serve us well to engage our free will. Free will has a deep intelligence which cheers us on. When we cannot muster up the courage to take the leap toward transformation, we suffer. Our free will is advocating for us. We only need but listen.

The Sun represents courage, self, essence, identity, vitality and recognition. While the Sun is hidden from view, we  internalize its qualities. We cannot see the Sun but we can be the Sun. Wherever the Solar Eclipse touches upon in our natal chart, there will be irrevocable change. This change is essential to our wellness and vitality. It may feel like the ground beneath is faltering, however it is really the self that is altering. We are not stagnant beings; we are dynamic beings. We are unleashing that which holds us back from fully living from our center. As Cancer rules intrinsic emotion, we are longing for emotional alignment. We are communing fully and consciously with emotion that has in the past beset us. There is something lying dormant within us that is fighting for its life.

Cancer The Crab is a cardinal feminine water sign ruled by the Moon. The significant facets of this sign are emotion, tenderness, home, family, children, tradition, mothering, healing, connection and the nurturing of self and others. Cancer’s archetypes are The Mother, The Healer, and The Invisible One.

We have been mired in energies that almost defy explanation. The depth and breadth of emotion that we are experiencing at this time is a reflection of inattentiveness to our-selves. We are undergoing a super cleansing of karma. This karma is both personal and collective. The residue of unfinished business, emotional trauma, errors in judgement, and unfulfilled potential are on the brink of healing through a massive cleansing that perpetuates an escalated emotional level that may at times feel like too much to bear. We show up as responsible beings as we respond to a sacred calling to evolution. When we take deep stock of ourselves, we contribute to the introspection of the world at large. Now is the time to embrace the learning curve of a preparatory juncture, a preparation for the massive changes that are before us. We have the strength to take it on. We can do this.

In light of this temporary solar darkness, Cancer beckons us to commune with ourselves and each other in loving and nurturing ways. Cancer is the quintessential nurturer. When met with such challenges as we are undergoing now, the need for self-nurturing is imperative to navigating the territory that is set within us and before us.

Yes, the Sun is representative of ego. However a Solar Eclipse in Cancer calls for the juxtaposition of ego and emotion. As much of our emotion is driven by ego, we now have the opportunity to fully realize the tenacity of old emotional patterns as we release them to the Sun for revelation. The ego can then proceed more consciously, thus eliminating the negative knee jerk reactions it is so habitually prone to expressing.

Solar Eclipses often pertain not only to inner revelation, but outer events as well. These can at times come as a shock. As we strive toward a more conscious rendering of our lives, these events will portend changes that ultimately assist us, even if it feels like a reality that we have been catapulted into, one of which we have no desire to experience. Faith is a true friend in times like this. We cannot see the landscape before us, and yet, once the dust settles we have a clear view of our journey and the direction we must follow.

In these multi-dimensional transformative times, remember that the universe is always working on our behalf. Look to each other with compassion. Allow for the receptivity to both yourself and the other. We are all that we have. We belong to each other.

Know that all is happening for a reason. We may stumble in bafflement. “What is this reason?” you may ask. Give it to the Divine and all will be shown to you. Feel into it and all will be revealed.

NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE BLESSINGS UPON YOU.

NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS: Keep Looking Up

“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul… ~ Hermes Trismegistus ~

The New Moon  arrives at 15 degrees of Sagittarius on Friday, December 7 at 2:20 AM EST.

The New Moon is always accompanied by an air of mystery; a sense of the unknown; a spirit of anticipation.  We are about to embark upon something new. Something has ended. It could be the expression of a facet of our psyche, a style of communication, a job, a relationship, or a way of thinking that no longer serves us.  We are inhabiting our intimacy with self. This emotional attunement inspires introversion, introspection, and solitude. Such a state of being may be quite subtle. The Moon often is. As she touches upon the most intimate areas of our psyches, her energy is deeply personal. As is the Moon, so are we.

A time of great respite is upon us, as the expansive Sagittarius New Moon is fueling the collective psyche with faith, hope, and optimism. There is a sense of magic in the air. As we dwell within this season of lights, we gather a glimpse of our own light. Our inner and outer vision recognize the light that is within us all. We accept and cherish that we are light unto each other.

This increment of time offers us an upward swing to the matters and circumstances of our lives. The load is lifted and carried on the wings of angels.

New Moons are a time of planting seeds. The seeds in which we are about to plant are luminous. As we plant them, we are imbued with vision and trust.

We are moving through our lives, facing struggles, challenges, and lessons, rising to the occasion of what each day brings. We are functioning to capacity, coping, reckoning with what is. Out of the blue, we wake up one day knowing that all is well. It is as if the universe has pressed a cosmic automatic reset button within our being. We are primed for awakening. We see the bigger picture. We are gifted with crystalline wind chime awareness. This is such a time.

The New Moon in Sagittarius serves to invigorate our spirit.

Sagittarius The Centaur is a mutable masculine fire sign ruled by Jupiter. Sagittarius embodies the archetypes of The Wanderer, The Visionary, The Scholar, The Optimist, The Truthsayer, The Teacher, and The Healer. Sagittarius is a Lover Of Humankind. The Sagittarian speaks with a universal voice. They offer us inspiration, spirituality, optimism, faith, and truth.

Through the eyes of Sagittarius we see the bigger picture. There is fervency about society, humanity, and world affairs. Sagittarius expects us to expect a lot from each other.

The last New Moon before the beginning of a new year marks a period of preparation for the year to come. This is a time of deep deep self-reflection and contemplation of what may lie before us. Upon the closure of the Sagittarius season we arrive at the Winter solstice.

The Centaur is a poignant symbol. As creatures, we are bound to the earth. As spirits, we shoot our arrows beyond the clouds not knowing where they will land. The arrows are like prayers. Sagittarius reminds us of the human condition as both creatures of the earth and spirits of the heavens melded into one form. As Pierre Teilhard de Chardin so eloquently stated: “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

Wonder. Wander. Watch and listen. Choruses of angels are whispering our songs. The cup is half full. Our hearts are overflowing.

Keep looking up!

Sagittarius New Moon Blessings Upon You.

FULL MOON IN GEMINI: Cosmic Conversations

“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul… ~ Hermes Trismegistus ~

The Full Moon  arrives at 0 degrees of Gemini on Thursday, November 23 at 12:39 AM EST.

In the grand scheme of life, the Moon exemplifies a constancy which often goes unseen in this ever changing world. The Moon is always there, even in the darkness of its newness. When the Moon is full, we are full as well. When we tap into the inner most sanctum of our consciousness, the once dormant nature of our fullness reveals itself as a celebration of something innately present, long withheld from recognition and expression.  Awareness precedes transformation.

The inception of this revelation began at the New Moon, where seeds of intention were firmly planted in the rich soil of our fertile being. At this juncture, The Gemini Full Moon looms ever larger and brighter with an ebullience that symbolically exemplifies an exalted facet of our nature. We in turn experience an inner magnificence that beams with the luminosity of the soul’s true essence.

Wherever Gemini resides within your natal chart there is profound opportunity for the channeling of exquisite awareness and open communication.

Gemini is exemplary of the reconciliation of opposites, thus possessing an innate ability to facilitate unified consciousness in the face of a society that operates within a field of duality. As oppositional perspective is paramount to the suffering and hostility that abounds in this complicated and conflicted societal milieu, Gemini consciousness constitutes an unfettered awareness of opposites fueled by compassionate perspective. Gemini has a facile ability to be-hold all of it; thus hold all of it. When operating at it’s evolved level of expression, Gemini inspires us to see the bigger picture, behold the other; hence invoking a new humanistic landscape that will emerge when the dust of destructive duality settles into a field of unconditional unity.

Gemini The Twins is a mutable air sign ruled by Mercury. The enlightened qualities of Gemini are adaptability, versatility, charisma, vivaciousness, intellectualism, curiosity, self-expressiveness, communicativeness, independence, self-education, playfulness, humor, and wittiness. As the esoteric ruler of Gemini is Venus, Gemini is characterized as having a strong love vibration.

Gemini is the master sign for the reconciling of opposites, thus shedding light upon dualities with an innate ability to see the full spectrum of people, life, and circumstances.

As with all of the signs of the zodiac with their unique and varied expressions, there is a spectrum from which they operate depending upon the development of the individual’s personality and soul. The less evolved characteristics of Gemini include behavioral expressions of gossip, flightiness, restlessness, inconsistency, shallowness, and fragility.

The archetypes of Gemini include The Teacher, The Witness, The Storyteller, The Reporter, and The Trickster.

We are in the midst of powerful Gemini energy! A longing to communicate abounds! There is an air of anticipation. Words swim within the waters of the soul. It is an opportune time in which to speak of the inimitable truths that are upon our hearts. Heartfelt communion with another is the elixir of life. Fellowship leads to the unfolding of the true self as we serve as mirrors unto each other.

Stand in your truth with supple legs. Anoint yourself with sacred words. Speak them to yourself. Speak them with another. Behold the recognition that in doing so, you are speaking with The Divine.

Gemini Full Moon Blessings Upon You.

SCORPIO NEW MOON: The Night Of Awakening

The New Moon arrives at 15 degrees of Scorpio on Wednesday, November 7 at 11:27 AM.

During a New Moon cycle, the Moon and the Sun are aligned in the same sign. New Moons present a gift of subjective insight within a specific realm of our psyches, thus offering to us within this very realm a new beginning imbued with fresh awareness. As the Moon is hidden from view, this newborn perspective is deeply internalized. Unaffected by influences outside of the self, it is a time in which to trust oneself. New Moons offer some of the most intimate moments we can ever have with ourselves.

This begins a 29-day cycle in which we have opportunity to initiate growth in some realm of our being or particular area of our lives. It is a time in which heightened subjective awareness is more readily available to us. Seeds of nascent consciousness stir anew. We can watch the growth, fruition and completion of whatever we discover throughout the entire lunar cycle.

We have all been pushed to our limits in recent weeks. Between the string of violence that continues to sweep the United States and beyond, coupled with the anticipation of the midterm elections, we have been facing the collective darkness, and with that, our own darkness as well. We have been driven to reach within the deep fathoms of our hearts, where we find ourselves reviewing past personal experiences and how perhaps we can heal both ourselves, another, or a situation at large.

As we contemplate the human psyche, one may ask, what is darkness? It is an inner realm wherein we cannot see the light; within ourselves, or within any given experience or situation. It is a state of being which we deem unacceptable. Unlovable. Irredeemable. Darkness is an area of both the collective and personal psyches. Darkness emerges when fear dominates love.

At this juncture, Scorpio the Scorpion is inviting us to dive into the deep well of inner darkness, for it is within these depths of consciousness that transformation of the highest order awaits us.

Scorpio is a fixed water sign, ruled by Mars and Pluto. The qualities of death, depth, darkness, intensity, power, passion, faithfulness, bravery and focus are ever present to us as we embark upon the inner quest.

Wherever Scorpio resides in our natal chart is where we fully embody the darkness. It is an area of profound personal power. This realm of our deepest wounding offers tremendous opportunity for transformation within this lifetime. And yet, it can act as a blind spot that lives in exile from our greater wholeness. At this time we have the will,  the vision, the capacity and the courage to face our darkness, our human shadow: that which we deem unlovable.

This place is one in which we have perhaps neglected to inhabit. It is a realm of difficult psychic, emotional, psychological and spiritual matter. While it is an area of the psyche that we have neglected, for it can feel like just too much to face and feel, this very area of trepidation is powerful beyond measure. When these emotions are faced and felt, we rise from the ashes like the phoenix, a powerful mythological symbol closely aligned with Scorpio. We die in order to be born anew.

We may find ourselves undergoing deep alchemical processes whereby transformation, transmutation and transfiguration are means for transport from the uncomfortable inner complacency which has been longing for recognition and release. Herein, beneath the darkness, lies the true gold of our inherent nature, our divine essence; the purest and highest expression of the true self.

What areas of your life have reached a place of completion? Do you feel a kind of death to your old self? Can you release people, places and situations which no longer serve your highest good to the light? Where do you need to take a risk? How can you best recognize the dark emotions through the lens of love? Where are you meeting the shadow in the outer world and with whom? Can you behold your deepest wound as the source of your greatest gift?

Scorpio inhabits the peak of Autumn. As we celebrate the beauty of nature in her cycle of death, let us celebrate the beauty of our own nature.

The darkness is a sacred chamber.

New Scorpio Moon Blessings Upon You.

“Every moment of light and dark is a miracle. ” ~Walt Whitman ~

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; Only Love can do that. ~ Martin Luther King ~

NEW MOON IN TAURUS: Standing Strong On Shaken Ground

The mantram of the astrologer is: AS ABOVE, SO BELOW.  This is my prayer, my incantation; as I serve to translate the divine urging of this sacred juncture that is set before us.

The New Moon  arrives at 24 degrees of Taurus on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:47 AM EDT.

The Sun and the Moon are conjunct during a New Moon. They are now communing together side by side. In doing so, the light of the Moon is blocked from view; as with this luminary alignment, the Sun’s light bears no reflection. The night sky appears Moon-less for three days. But Moon-less we are not. Even when we cannot see her, she is present. The darkness facilitates the perfect milieu in which to go within. For it is only our willingness to commune with the darkness of the inner self that we can nurture the chrysalis state of our souls. In doing so, we allow for metamorphosis.

New Moons portend new beginnings. This fresh cycle opens up with tremendous excitement. Our nervous systems are vibrating at extremely high frequencies. There is positive anticipation as well as fearful trepidation. We know on some level that a monumental change is upon us. Even positive change can evoke fear and stress. As with all planetary alignments, we can choose with our own free will as to whether we will cooperate or not. Resistance may be high. While this time is quite uncomfortable, it is an opportunity of seismic proportions. Like The Fool in the Tarot, we muster our courage and prepare to take the leap.

Dynamic times are a perfect opportunity to stir the inner fire as we watch ourselves rise from the ashes. Suppressed rage may boil beneath the surface longing to erupt.  Tempers are fragile. Outbursts, shock, and drama may inform our passage. The need for both inner and outer changes has been upon the collective psyche. We now have an auspicious window of time in which to consciously and willingly walk into the unknown. It is a time of tumultuous shakeup on both the inner and outer planes. One can liken this to a Big Bang in our individual lives and upon the earth.

Our nervous systems are taxed. There are inner tremors as the tectonic plates of our inner being are preparing for an earthquake of massive significance. We are awakening for a complete restructuring of our lives. Life as we have known it may never be the same again. These monumental happenings also have the potential to infuse positive change that catapults us into a new dimension of our being; one in which our true selves are emerging into their fullest expression of light filled authenticity.  There is excitement; for shakeups also serve to bring us more fully to life. Our greatest gifts can emerge at this time if we allow ourselves to be cracked open by the seismic energy that is within and upon us.

Taurus The Bull is a peaceful and grounded sign. The Taurus New Moon can serve to ground us during this unpredictable period. Our attunement to The Bull can serve us through the eruptions, disruptions, and catastrophe in our lives. Catastrophe can ultimately bring about expansion and renewal. We can perceive such events as disaster, or we can courageously step into the higher dimension of our life experience. Disaster literally means “against the stars.”If we ignore these powerful incantations of the Divine, we may suffer in ways that are unnecessary.

One may liken the physical sensation of our current emotional lives to a hive of bees residing within the heart. There is humming, buzzing, and flighty turbulence. It is from this place that honey is created.

At this time, Taurus the Bull, is attuning us to the inherent values of our soul. In recognizing these values, in questioning whether or not we are adhering to them in our daily lives, we also assess whether or not we are truly in a place of valuing our authentic selves. For it is only when one truly values the self, that we can value another. This Taurean Moon inspires us to value ourselves and each other as we all walk this path together at a most disparate juncture in our collective journey.

Taurus The Bull is a fixed feminine earth sign, ruled by Venus. When the Moon is in Taurus, it is exalted.  This is the highest expression of the Moon. The qualities of silence, patience, steadfastness, determination, loyalty, peacefulness, tranquility, sensuality, beauty, nature, musicality and grounding are themes which are quietly beckoning us to their attunement.

Wherever Taurus resides in your natal chart is a distinct area in which you must live closely aligned to your particular values. It is a sector whereby valuing the inherent beauty of the self will only enhance your expression in the world, the positive affect you have upon others and the way in which you view and experience life.  In essence, wherever Taurus resides within you, is where you can relax. It is where the theme of your particular brand of peace resides. There, all is well, as long as you embrace your true value in a manner whereby you recognize and embrace your divinity within your own humanity.

“To thine own self be true” This statement can appear as quite the adage, but is much more complicated than the short sentence that sums it all up. During the next three days, it will become apparent in a grand manner where we can no longer tolerate our own inner patterns, relational patterns, and daily patterns. Our world is being shaken up.

When we are standing at the edge of the cliff, we can either take the leap, or fall. Be brave. Welcome to your New World.

Taurus New Moon Blessings Upon You.

FULL MOON IN LIBRA: Balancing The Heart

The Full Moon  arrives at 10 degrees of Libra on Saturday, March 31 at 8:36 AM EDT.

Wherever the Moon is, there is splendor. No matter her phase; no matter her appearance, she is magnificent. The Full Moon phase is perhaps the most splendid of all. Her radiant orb looms largely above and upon us. We are filled with a sense of constancy. She evokes all manner of  layered emotions, filtering the particles of confusion and unfulfillment from our psychic atmosphere. Her replete presence calls forth from us full spectrum consciousness in which to inform and inspire our process of transformation. From here, we proceed with vision of tremendous magnitude.

One can liken this to an arduous yet successful mountain climb. We are standing at the top of the mountain with a clear unfettered view of the night’s spectacular sky, reflecting the radiant light which we all embody; yet, in which we darken with the unconscious threads of self-destruction which tether us to rocky ground. Herein lies a choice. We can view and experience the multidimensional realms before us; or, we can remain in the limited oppressive land of three dimensional reality which says, “All that you see is all that there is.” It is our choice. We all have the capacity and strength to shift our awareness. We only have to embrace this optimal cycle which is upon us.

During the pinnacle of the Moon’s unwavering presence, light is shed upon our questions and concerns. A message is delivered to a relational circumstance or situation long pondered. Perhaps there has been something in particular that has been looming largely in the invisible background of our heart’s domain.

That which is repressed becomes distorted. When we ignore the pure energy of enlightenment that the Full Moon offers to us, we can potentially become fueled with a sort of mania driven by the irrational forces of the unconscious mind.

Libra The Scales is a cardinal masculine air sign ruled by Venus. The archetypes of Libra are The Artist, The Lover, and The Peacemaker. Libra’s qualities include equilibrium, love, relational expression, aesthetic sensibility, inner harmony, peacefulness, fairness, partnering, inner balance, and social etiquette. Libra embodies the ability to embody consciously both the shadow and the light. As each zodiac sign has an evolved manifestation coupled with a distinct shadow manifestation, Libra does so no less. Libra’s shadow emerges within the realm of relationships most of all. Libra fears conflict, thus prone to over-compromise.This often results in people pleasing of the highest order. Thus, an opportunity to engage in healthy discourse can seem daunting. This in turn can be an act of self-betrayal.

Libra longs for love; love of the courtly sort: the state of aesthetic love which emanates longing for balance and equality. When the scales are tipped, the Libran heart is torn asunder.

Wherever Libra resides in your star chart, there is tremendous longing for true connection and partnership. It is an area in which the aesthetics of grace, tenderness, and true partnership are both required and lived forthrightly.

During this highly relational Full Moon, Mercury, The Messenger of The Gods, provides steady compansionship, offering a prime opportunity for open hearted communication. Mercury is a fine companion for the Moon, as he lightens her up and assists with an ever heightened awareness of the destructiveness of dualistic thinking. Both Libra and Mercury can see beyond the extreme rationale that only serves to divide and separate us from each other, thus mending the bridge to true compassion and understanding. This is a time to grow beyond duality.

The recent weeks have been heavily fueled by Mars. Anger has been palpable. There may be regrets relating to our own words and behavior as well as challenges to forgive the irate behavior and unkind words of others. Mars reminds us of our inner warrior, demanding the delineation of boundaries within the realm of passion. The heart centered Libra energy is challenged at this time with a field of aggression. There is room for both, as they each are necessary. In pure Libra fashion, we can unite them as an efficacious collaboration for balancing relationship, both with the self and with others.

The heart has four chambers. Are they balanced? Do they flow between each other? We can hold it all, as long as those chambers have equal distribution of the myriads of emotional understanding and lucid expression. We have a choice. Making choices poses challenges for Libra.  So the feeling realm must be invoked by the higher self. For it is the heart that truly knows.

As we embrace the first Full Moon of Spring, commune with both the light and the shadows that the Moon casts before us. They are reminiscent of the light and shadow that we exchange with each other.

We all are mirrors. Who is gazing back at you? What do you wish to reflect upon the world? First we must look within our own mirror. Only when we embrace the reflection of the self, can we receive the reflection of another.  Mutual reflection met with receptivity balances the heart. The balanced heart balances the world. When the world is balanced, our hearts are set free.

Libra Full Moon Blessings Upon You.

FULL SUPERMOON LUNAR ECLIPSE IN LEO: The Light-ness of Being

The Full Super Moon Full Lunar Eclipse arrives at 11 degrees of Leo on Wednesday, January 31 at 8:26 AM EST.

A Super Full Moon Eclipse is upon us. It is a time in which to more fully realize the en-light-enment that we each inherently embody. Our recognition of this luminous dimension of the true and authentic self activates the light that we exude to others and to the world. Our personal radiance heals. This embodied light is rising fully within us.

This is the second Full Moon of this month. The first full Moon was on January 1rst. Two Full Moons emerging on the first and last days of the first month of the new year bear great significance, providing a heightened opportunity for us to wake up and see what is really there.  What is really really there? What have we not yet seen or recognized within our own lives that was standing before our eyes? This once unseen dimension may have existed for eternity. As this is an eclipse, our revelation will be more than one could have ever imagined. Eclipses enhance our emotional awareness. We will discover some facet of our psyche that was hidden in the realm of the subconscious.  Our hearts pound with emotion.  And yet, we are enlivened by them. They are long lost friends who celebrate their recognition. As they emerge from the darkness, we greet them.

Lunar eclipses stir the cauldron of emotion. We are being alchemized. Emotional truth is the concoction of the soul.

Revelations which ultimately transform us, may be  painful.  And yet, the broken heart is an open heart. In the midst of what may seem harsh and unbearable lies Leo’s expansive domain of  heart. Our travails through the darkness eventually unravel into an emergence of light.  As the shadow of the earth passes across the face of the Moon, we can use the temporary darkness to embrace our own darkness; for soon the Moon’s full spectrum light of the Sun will once again show her radiant glowing face. The Sun and the Moon are cohorts. They emulate the lightness of being.

When we are born, we emerge from the womb of the Moon into the light of the Sun. There are times in which the Moon must be revisited in order to go inside and comb through our inner life. Then, we once again return to the Sun. When we allow ourselves to contract, there is expansion. When there is expansion, there is contraction. This is the cycle of life.

Leo is a fixed masculine fire sign ruled by the Sun. It’s qualities include charisma, leadership, humor, theatrical style, light-ness, artistic talent, expression, grandeur, royalty, dynamism, flamboyance, ebullience, and courage. Leo’s dark side tends toward egotism, arrogance, pride, cruelty, and the unwillingness to compromise.

As human beings, no matter what our sign, we all fall into darkness during difficult times; or when perhaps we are feeling threatened by something or someone real or imagined.  Each and every Sun sign has the capacity for the full embodied light of creative loving expression. Leo’s essential mission is to mirror to us the magnificence of our own being through the expression of our essential purpose.

The relational planet, Venus, is accompanying this lunation.  We receive the other’s light while at the same time, exuding our own. The past karma of relational instability has risen to a compassionate realization of our partnership with each other as the facilitators of personal growth and soul-full transformation.

We are traveling at the speed of light.

May you find yourself shining brightly within your own being.

As with all of the signs of the zodiac with their unique and varied expressions, there is a spectrum from which they operate depending upon the development of the individual’s personality and soul. The less evolved characteristics of Gemini include behavioral expressions of gossip, flightiness, restlessness, inconsistency, shallowness and fragility.

The archetypes of Gemini include The Teacher, The Witness, The Storyteller, The Reporter, and The Trickster.

Neptune, the planet of mysticism, transcendence, compassion, spirituality, and other-worldliness, closely accompanies the Sun and Moon, thus imbuing this communicative interval of time with profound opportunity for the necessary truths which beckon for honest expression. While Neptune can often inspire confusion, illusion, and ultra-sensitivity, these qualities are also upon us. We may be prone to projection and a sense of victimization. However, we can embody the best of Neptune as we infuse  compassion and  mindful awareness of others. It is an opportune time for expressing oneself via compassionate communication to self and others. In doing so, we present ourselves both firmly and tenderly.

Stand in your truth with supple legs. Anoint yourself with sacred words. Speak them to yourself. Speak them with another. Behold the recognition that in doing so, you are speaking with The Divine.

Gemini Full Moon Blessings Upon You.

TAURUS FULL MOON: Standing Our Ground

The mantram of the astrologer is: AS ABOVE, SO BELOW.  This is my prayer, my incantation; as I serve to translate the divine urging of this sacred juncture that is set before us.

The Super Full Moon arrives at 11 degrees of Taurus on Saturday, November 4 at 1:22 AM EDT.

Full Moons carry with them lore, magic, mystery, and sometimes even mayhem. These precious facets of life express themselves in our outer world as well as within our own interior. As we embrace this earthy sensual Full Moon in Taurus, we are reminded that the awakening of our true values is upon us. The full spectrum light of the Sun casts his glorious rays upon the Moon. The pie in the sky serves as a luminous telescopic lens focused precisely upon this point in time within our lives, appearing in a personal realm that is primed and ready for realization and awakening. This Full Moon is both grounded and expansive. So plant your feel on the ground and let your spirit soar!

As with all lunar cycles, there is a potpourri of planetary delights that mix together on one splendid table in which to dine from. Some planets may express in the form of something highly delectable, while others may present a sort of indigestion. Our attitudinal stance toward whatever we are facing will determine the quality of experience for our divine awakening.

As the Sun and the Moon face each other, we face ourselves. The cosmos is a reflection of our true nature within a sacred sector of the vast panorama of our lives.

While we are in the lunar season of Taurus, we meet it’s opposite sign; as we are at the same time in the solar season of Scorpio. Both are coupled within their very diametrically opposed expression.  We are called to dive deeply within our psyches to meet and greet those neglected aspects and qualities of our inherent nature; for Scorpio rules all things felt deeply which are buried and hidden. When we embrace the dark side of our human nature, we discover the buried treasure of our inherent being. The Taurus Full Moon is assisting us with practical grounding and the provision of earthy human comfort throughout the healing process.

This Full Moon is most spectacular as it is a Super Moon, whose appearance will loom ever so large above the earth, exercising a more powerful influence upon us. The magnetic fields upon the earth are amplified as well as our own emotional state of being. Additionally, when the Moon is in Taurus, it is in what is known as an exaltation. While exalted, the expression of the Moon is endowed with highly evolved qualities of both the Moon and Taurus.  Taking all of this into consideration, we are blessed with an extraordinary Full Moon!

As if this were not enough, Jupiter, the planet of expansion, optimism, faith, and enthusiasm, is deeply engaged with both Sun and Moon. We are graced with new vision and the opportunity to rise above all that has weighed us down. Hurting hearts gather reprieve at this time as unveiled wounds reveal the bounty of our true value.

Taurus The Bull, is a fixed earth sign ruled by Venus. The archetypes of Taurus are The Builder, The Earth Spirit, The Musician, and The Quiet One. Taurus rules the qualities and characteristics of peacefulness, presence, mindfulness, groundedness, values, self-value, aesthetic appreciation, security, engagement and commitment to the earth, and highly developed senses. As Taurus is the quintessential earth sign, it is highly attuned to the earth, acting as a steward and cultivator of life in it’s myriad forms.

Taurus longs for security. Tune into your values and live by them; for that is where security lies. Value yourself; for you are valuable. When we adhere to our values, a true and ardent life unfolds before us.

Commune with the earth. Behold the splendor of the leaves. Welcome the nakedness of change.

We are leaving a period of time in which we have been communing deeply with the wounds of our soul. We have allowed them more fully into consciousness. Even wounds do not want to be left out. The Moon is the steward of our wounds. Release them to the Moon. Allow for their departure. They are angels who have just received their wings.

TAURUS FULL MOON BLESSINGS UPON YOU.

ARIES FULL MOON: The Courage To Be

As I write this, my heart is filled with sorrow. I devote this writing to all beings who have lost their lives and to those who have lost loved ones and in the throes of immense suffering.

The Full Moon arrives at 12 degrees of Aries on Thursday, October 5 at 2:40 PM EDT.

Each Full Moon has their own mood, color, timbre, and song. During this Aries Full Moon, the mood is angry. The color is red. The timbre is harsh. The song is courageous.

Full Moon cycles are captivating. They capture us. While in the midst of this revelatory cycle, we cannot hide. Nor can  pertinent matters remain hidden from us. A spotlight shines upon the spectacle of life. Illumination, insight, and discovery are driven by the energy of lunar ebullience. Sometimes, what we discover is not pleasant. And yet, it takes reconciliation of both light and shadow to serve and enhance personal healing and expansion of the soul.

This is a time in which to face and honor ourselves and each other. In essence, The Aries Full Moon is urging us to engage with the full capacity of our inherent being-ness.

These are passionate and intense times. The Aries Full Moon serves to heighten the collective mood. Volatile scenes are playing out upon the global screen. We are experiencing drama on the interior level as well.

Aries The Ram is a cardinal fire sign ruled by Mars. Aries embodies the archetypes of The Warrior, The Pioneer, and The Loner. The qualities of Aries include courage, instinctiveness, assertiveness, passion, enthusiasm, individuality, innovativeness, creativity and leadership.  When Aries is immersed in the lower vibrations, it expresses as immaturity, impatience, selfishness, anger, violence, arrogance, recklessness, and tyranny. When we are willing to embrace both the shadow and the light of our sacred being-ness, we become primed for true transformation layered with intimate compassion for both self and others in recognition of the complexity of being human.

As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries speaks to our primal instincts. As a mountainous creature, The Ram is no stranger to going it alone, forging its own path, and leading the way for others.

Wherever Aries resides in your natal chart is a distinct area in which you go it alone, and in doing so, deeply experience your individuality within the center of your solitude. It is a place in which to commune with your authentic being. It is an area where perhaps no other will be able to reconcile your stance.  As we inhabit this lonely place, we discover who we are.  The Aries Full Moon is urging us to engage with the total capacity of our inherent being-ness. In doing so, we embrace all that resides within us; the good, the bad, and the ugly. This takes nothing less than courage.

It takes courage to be. Self-repression leads to volatility. We cannot expect others to recognize us if we do not first recognize ourselves. As Aries represents our individual self, any negligence of one’s  true essence will only express both outwardly and inwardly as anger.  Self-repression leads to volatility.

Concentrated self-reflection is the key. We may think of reflecting upon the self as a peaceful venture. And yet, self- reflection also requires us to traverse the hot, fiery, aggressive, and angry aspects of our psyches. We are after all, human. Whether we are unleashing negative behaviors upon others or the outer world or not, we are still in a way inflicting upon ourselves the violence of our own anger in the form of inner turbulence, thus causing tremendous suffering. This suffering presents itself as unmitigated anxiety; which at it’s core, is repressed aggression.

The question therefore is: How do we safely and creatively transform our aggression in a transformative manner which moves us through to the other side where our higher self resides, allowing us to engage in pure expression of love?

When we recognize and embrace our being-ness, we will discover nothing less than the expression of our instinctual brilliance.

Be brave for yourself. Be brave for each other.

Just be.

Aries Full Moon Blessings Upon You.
