LIBRA FULL MOON: THE FACES OF EACH OTHER
The Full Moon arrives at 21 degrees of Libra on Tuesday, April 11 at 2:08 AM EDT.
Endowed with the spectacle of radiant light, the Full Moon endows us with a beacon of hope inspired by her magical presence against the blackness of the night sky. No matter what is going on in our lives, this illumination acts as an energy transference which invigorates our inner world. In essence, the Full Moon activates conscious awareness of those areas of our psyches which have been cowering in the deep caverns of the unconscious. Once the light has been cast, will we see what’s there? And as this Full Moon is dressed in the partnership sign of Libra, the question becomes more of: will we see who is there?
Jupiter and the Moon are close traveling companions at this time. Don’t forget to look up! You cannot miss the effervescent planet as it aligns with the Moon for the next 3 days. As Jupiter offers tremendous beneficence, the planetary giant presents extraordinary expansiveness as well. Feelings, conditions and circumstances loom large. At this juncture, our current state of being is heightened. It serves to keep in mind that Jupiter, while often acting as the Guardian Angel in our lives who swoops in to save the day, can also expand whatever difficulty or negativity may be residing within our holistic domain. Therefore, remain ever so mindful of thoughts, words and actions. Through it all, Jupiter’s qualities of energy, faith, strength and optimism shine forth.
Libra The Scales is a cardinal air sign ruled by Venus. Libra’s presence personifies the archetypes of The Lover, The Artist and the Peacemaker. Libra emanates the essence of love, peace, artistry, partnership, balance, etiquette, aesthetics, cooperation and harmony. The realm of Libra includes significant one-to-one relationships. Partnership comes in many forms, does it not? Whether it is our life partner, lover, friend, colleague, client, parent or sibling, each is a relationship of unique expression. In facing the self, we serve the other. In facing each other, we serve the soul.
Any lunar cycle is not essentially the pure expression of it’s sign, and yet, the sign figures prominently and prolifically in the current planetary climate. At this time, The Full Moon is coupled with a powerful and turbulent double T-Square involving the Sun, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto. As all of these conditions are combined with the Mercury Retrograde cycle, we are being pushed to our limits. Sometimes, it takes intense friction in order for us to find a deeper, greater and more meaningful awareness of ourselves and each other. We only needed an igniter. These are times of unstoppable ignition. In the midst of it all, we are blessed with the peaceful, balanced and loving nature of Libra to see us through.
There is a beautiful Native American saying:
“Don’t judge any man until you have walked two moons in his moccasins.”
All of our moccasins are a bit worn and tattered. Some of them barely have soles. Try to remember this in these most beautiful yet challenging of times. In that moment, when we come face to face with another, no matter who they are, look at their shoes.
In that very moment, when we come face to face, all we have is each other.
Libra Full Moon Blessings Upon You.
THE GUEST HOUSE
some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
for some new delight.
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
as a guide from beyond.
NEW MOON IN ARIES: “To Thine Own Self Be True”
The New Moon arrives at 7 degrees of Aries on Sunday, March 27 at 10:57 PM EDT.
New Moons offer us a three day window of time in which to embark upon a new emotional cycle. As life unfolds before us each day, our emotions like the Moon, wax and wane; like the ocean, ebb and flow. We are after all, liquid beings. Our physical bodies are 50-65% water. The Moon is the harbinger of oceanic tides as well as the steward of human emotions.

Our emotional body is an entity unto itself, exerting influences which bare great significance upon each and every area of our lives. Attuning to the lunar cycles coupled with astute awareness of where they appear in the natal chart, greatly assists us on our soul’s journey. The Moon is a prolific reminder that life is in a continuous state of flux. During each New Moon, we are washed ashore to a new landscape which offers us a new horizon yet unseen. Upon our arrival, we are filled with aspiration.
As the Spring Equinox is the astrological New Year, the Aries New Moon is a prolific time in which to embrace one’s nascent self. We are now as seedlings, pushing up through the earth, emerging as a new life form. Aries is the instinctual life force! Aries is the will to exist.
Aries The Ram is a cardinal fire sign embodying the archetypes of The Pioneer, The Warrior, The Daredevil, The Loner and The Survivor. Aries exudes the qualities of individuality, assertiveness, innovativeness, independence, courage, aggression, passion, ferocity and leadership. Keep in mind, that often times an Aries person does not naturally possess these characteristics, but rather, has come into this incarnation to explore and learn them. As with every sign, there is an evolutionary scale. While we possess the inherent potential and soul knowledge, some of the qualities and characteristics of a sign are still in process. We strive to bring those hidden areas of ourselves, both the flawed and the virtuous, into consciousness; for consciousness itself is the great emancipator.
Along with the Sun and Moon in Aries, these luminaries are accompanied by Venus, Mercury and Uranus, also in Aries. Thus we are endowed with a potent infusion of the fire element providing an optimization of our life force in which exuberance, determination, optimism, faith, confidence and courage are ever present as we embark on the next leg of the journey. Follow the path. It is a road not yet taken. It is solely your own.
We must be true and brave to the core of our being. Our own unique instinctual brilliance is our vital life force. When we deny our true nature, when we ignore our instinctual knowledge, anger explodes as lave from a volcano. While we may believe we are angry at a person or a situation, we are in fact really angry at the self.
Where have you been untrue to yourself? Aries challenges us to face this awareness as an impetus for change so that we may purely express our true nature from the core of our being.
Light your torch. Shed your own light. There is nobody such as you.
Aries New Moon Blessings Upon You
“To thine own self be true.”- Polonius in Hamlet, William Shakespeare
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the road less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
– Robert Frost –
“If I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have the capacity at the beginning.” – Mahatma Gandhi –
” Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.”

VIRGO FULL MOON: Healing The Healer
The Full Moon arrives at 22 degrees of Virgo on Sunday, March 12 at 10:53 AM EDT.

During this Virgo Full Moon, we have arrived. We find ourselves upon a new landscape, perhaps one in which we are still learning to navigate. We set out for this destination on the Pisces New Moon Solar Eclipse two weeks ago. Whatever emerged at that time, has been unfolding both multi-dimension-ally and timelessly into a spiral of events that has left us bewildered, perhaps even shocked. The healing opportunities which have arisen are as deep as the ocean.
As Chiron is the Moon’s faithful companion through this time, the archetype of The Wounded Healer is awakening more fully within us, presenting ever more dramatically those wounds in which we have not fully accepted, embraced and healed. We are like onions being pealed away one layer at a time. Beneath each layer lies yet another layer. We are after all, multi-dimensional beings.
Who among us is not wounded?
The message at this time is that in order to be of healing service to others, we must be in service to our own woundedness. In communing with these wounds, we allow for our own lovely vulnerability; for vulnerability is the doorway to grace.
Virgo is a feminine mutable earth sign, ruled by Mercury. Prominent archetypal themes for the sign of Virgo include The Servant, The Martyr, The Analyst, The Perfectionist, The Angel and The Hermit. While this sign is characterized by purity, the true definition of the word “virgin” is “complete unto oneself.” We are thus graced with enhanced awareness of our quiet strength, for Virgo contains a high measure of personal independence. Virgo reminds us that in order to assist others, we must first assist ourselves; in order to guide others, we must navigate within.
Wherever the Virgo Full Moon falls in your natal chart, wherever Virgo resides, you will experience heightened awareness and illumination of a dimension of yourself that requires quiet attention. It is time to proceed with practical mindful attunement to the task at hand. We know what this mission is, for it was presented to us during the New Moon Solar Eclipse. This Full Moon presents us with the full impact of an irrevocable change that has happened upon us. Now, we must proceed with self-blessing in gentle Virgo fashion leaving no stone unturned.
As we tend to ourselves, Virgo imbues us with a desire to hone our inherent gifts. Virgo attunes us to themes of service, work, health, improvement and perfection. We are reminded of the sacredness that presides over mundane matters.
While it may seem that we never reach the precipice of this perpetual climb, we may fail to see that precious gemstones lie just beneath the surface of our weary feet. Virgo treads lightly upon the earth. Now, more than ever, we must tread lightly with ourselves.
The great Swiss psychologist, Alice Miller, said in her book, The Drama Of The Gifted Child, “The gift is in the wound.”
Get in there and look around. You will be amazed by what you see. You will be honored by who you meet.
We are all miracles unto each other.
Virgo Full Moon Blessings Upon You.
The wound is where the Light enters you. – Rumi –
One can give nothing whatever without giving oneself—that is to say, risking oneself. If one cannot risk oneself, then one is simply incapable of giving.

PISCES NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE: Swimming The Sea of Life
The New Moon Solar Eclipse arrives at 8 degrees of Pisces on Sunday, February 26 at 9:58 AM EST.
During a New Moon, we are offered the sacred conjunction of both solar and lunar consciousness. It is here where we blend and merge aspects of our psyche which may at other times be quite estranged from each other. Something within us awakens from an ancient slumber propelling us to embark upon a nascent journey.

Solar Eclipses always happen upon a New Moon, impressing upon us a heightened impetus toward a new beginning. Somewhere, within some dimension of our multi- layered lives, a spotlight shines forth. The stage is set. Herein lies heightened subjective awareness. Wherever the New Moon Solar Eclipse falls in your natal chart, wherever Pisces resides, there will be a marked change. Whether upon some exterior level, or within an interior realm, the life we have known is forever altered. As our interior world is the facilitator for our outer experience, we will most likely see the changes both within and without. As Pisces is the most imaginative of the signs, these images are evermore potent and powerful thus exerting greater influence upon our lives.
Each lunar cycle forms a grand assembly of planetary participants who interact with each other, thus propelling us to commune with the different and sometimes opposing aspects within and of ourselves. There is complexity. We are assembling our own unique puzzle, searching for the missing pieces, finding that they were right in front of us in clear view all along. The Moon in Pisces is accompanied by Mercury, the South Node, the Sun, Neptune and Chiron. Themes of communication, karma, essence, God and the wounded healer emerge and merge, huddling together as a cosmic team.
Prominent archetypal themes for this sign include The Dreamer, The Poet, The Mystic, The Martyr and The Redeemer. Pisces embodies the qualities of compassion, sensitivity, imagination, creativity, dreaminess, other-worldliness, changeability and attunement to the Divine.
As Neptune is the ruler of Pisces, it’s immersion within this Pisces cluster imbues it with even more mystery, spirit, emotion, depth and sensitivity.
At this time, Pisces The Fishes is awakening within us deeper contemplation of where we belong in the grandeur of life. We find our ourselves, like The Fishes, swimming in opposite directions only to find that we come full circle. As a mutable feminine water sign, Pisces adeptly circumvents the turbulent waters embracing duality.
We cannot escape the intensity of emotion that not only is reflective of our personal experience. We listen and hear the cries of the world as well. Collective consciousness looms large. There is a desire to expand the source of our spiritual awareness, thus facilitating healing for ourselves and each other in a world that is at the same time both consumed by and longing for compassion.
Wherever Pisces resides within our chart, we will encounter heightened sensitivity, psychic expansion and experience of our oneness with life in its myriad forms. As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces is a sign of karmic completion. We may be revisiting old themes, relationships and experiences that we felt we had processed and released. Now, they hauntingly return, requiring us to dive head on into the oceanic depths of emotional awareness.
Amidst this climate of swirling emotion and quiet softness, sudden change is afoot. Mars, Jupiter and Uranus are stirring the cauldron of our personal world as well as the world at large. The illusion is being shattered by this fiery trio. Courage is called upon as we face the unknown territory of three dimensional reality. The world we have known has become chaotic. Life is becoming stranger and thus a stranger unto us. As tectonic plates within the depths of the earth, the paradigm is shifting.
It is only by navigating our own interior with full awareness and personal responsibility that we can contribute authentic presence and mindful action to this ever changing and evolving earthly habitat. Despite all appearances, we are healing.
Emerging from the depths, we discover gold in the shadows. As we awaken to a society of dreams, we discover a soft tender spot wrapping ourselves and each other in love.
Pisces New Moon Blessings Upon You.
It is the belief in a power larger than myself and other than myself which allows me to venture into the unknown and even the unknowable. – Maya Angelou –
When we quit thinking primarily about ourselves
and our own self-preservation,
we undergo a truly heroic transformation of consciousness.
– Joseph Campbell –
One can give nothing whatever without giving oneself—that is to say, risking oneself. If one cannot risk oneself, then one is simply incapable of giving.

LEO FULL MOON ECLIPSE: The Courageous Heart
The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse arrives at 22 degrees of Leo on Friday February 10, at 7:32 PM EST.
This particular eclipse is known as a penumbral eclipse. During such an eclipse the moon crosses through the outer section of the earth’s shadow. Astronomically, this eclipse is not as dramatic as a full or partial eclipse, for it is barely visible to the naked eye. Astrologically, it is an eclipse that will be felt and seen within the human sphere.
Lunar Eclipses propel us to unearth the hidden stratum of our psyches. This seeming dismantlement of our internal world is in actuality an opportunity to embrace our wholeness.
Full Moons occur when the the Sun and the Moon are in exact opposition to one another. They are facing off as the Sun sheds it’s magnificent light upon the Moon. During this culmination, we are endowed with an opportunity for full spectrum consciousness in a particular area of life. Energies are heightened. Our eyes are opened widely as we awaken to the juxtaposition of the objective and subjective manners in which we navigate our world. Duality is conquered as we merge the objective outlook with the subjective in look.
Leo is a fixed fire sign, ruled by the Sun. Dynamic and ebullient by nature, Leo encourages us to shine forth, exuding the light of the true self. We recognize our own magnificence as well as the areas in which our true expression sheds light, encouragement and joy upon the lives of others.
Think of an arduous time in which your courage supported you as you saw yourself to the other side. Reflect upon the strong heart centered people in your life who have loved, nurtured and supported you through your own hardship. Consider where your strength of character and open heart assisted someone during their own dark night of the soul. Each instance is a reflection of the evolved Leo. It is within a specific sector of our natal chart that we are inhabited by such expressions.
Leo the Lion is heart centered. Leo’s domain encompasses the inherent qualities of strength, courage, loyalty, humor, charisma, essence, talent, creativity and playfulness. Wherever Leo resides in your natal chart is the arena where you need to feel and express these attributes. Leo resonates with the desire to be seen, appreciated and recognized.
Leo leads the way with momentum facilitating heightened states of awareness and feeling. We are poised for the emotional courage necessary to break out and through our self imposed walls of confinement toward the realization of our pure essence. The courageous heart is palpable. This Full Moon will ignite your inner light.
In which areas of your life do you experience the courageous heart? How can you be more courageous? Do you greet life with an open heart? Are you hiding your light under a bushel? Do you acknowledge your own special talent? Are you engaging with your talent for the pure joy it provides? How can your unique talent serve others? Are you having enough fun? Do you need to lighten up?
Leo reminds us to embrace the light. In doing so, we engage the courageous heart. When we shed our own light upon the world, we allow others to shine.
Courage is the root of love.
Embrace your inner Lion and roar at the Moon.
Leo Full Moon Blessings Upon You!
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS: The Freedom To Be Free
The New moon arrives at 8 degrees of Aquarius on Friday, January 27 at 7:06 PM EST.
New Moons offer us a three day window of time in which to plant seeds of intention. We set forth on a new leg of our journey. As the Moon and the Sun align, the subjective self emerges. This blending of the feminine and the masculine balances holistic awareness with translucent self-knowledge. Lunar cycles are small cycles within large cycles allowing us to attune more keenly to specific dimensions of the multidimensional self.

During the last three days before the New Moon, we are in the Balsamic Moon Phase. Known as the bottom of the Moon, it is a cycle of karmic completion. We have at this time the opportunity to integrate and synthesize our experience of the past 26 days. We are significantly more attuned to our psychic sensibilities as the next round unfolds. As our sensitivity is heightened, our physical energy may wane. Solitude, rest and introspection form a solid foundation for the preparation of the new cycle. When the New Moon arrives we are once again energized.
Aquarius the Water-Bearer is a fixed air sign. Prominent archetypal themes for this sign include The Genius, The Revolutionary, The Truth Sayer, The Visionary, The Humanitarian and The Scientist.
Aquarius harbors an ethereal quality coupled with heightened mental faculties and a highly developed intuitive function. As the sign of humanity seeking the greater good for all, Aquarius raises its voice to the outer world decrying personal gain at the expense of others through greed and exploitation. For Aquarius, it is love, peace, freedom, inclusiveness and justice for all.
At this juncture, we are awakening to those areas in our lives where we we are loudly called to march to the beat of our own drum, no matter how erratic it may seem. It is a time in which to express our truth authentically without worrisome thoughts of what others may think. It is by means of our own authentic self-expression that we most greatly contribute to the healing of the world. We cannot embrace another if we do not embrace ourselves. We cannot respect the freedom of another if we withhold from ourselves the freedom to be free.
As the first New Moon of the new year, Aquarius’ revolutionary spirit is largely upon us. We feel it within as we witness it’s expression in the outer world. Aquarian themes of humanitarianism, brother and sisterhood, individuality and equality are bursting to the fore. We are courageously facing the dark side of our society so that we may transform that which no longer serves the greater good. While it appears that a war has been waged, we are being graced with the opportunity to emerge into the light of newly awakened consciousness in which we fully realize and embrace equality for all.
During this Aquarius New Moon, we as a collective are imbued with our own visionary qualities. We have a unique opportunity to hone our intuitive faculties. This time is ideal for creatively visualizing the most positive outcomes for our lives and humanity. We embody the ability to envision and thus create a future of the greatest good for all. We enact goodness by honoring our unique talents, gifts and qualities. When we honor and express our authenticity, we serve humanity; we are healers who heal unto each other.
Wherever Aquarius resides in your natal chart is a distinctive area of life in which you are inspired to break out of the so called norm in order to live that particular realm of life in your own unique, sometimes revolutionary manner. It is your realm of essential freedom. .
Where can you begin anew from a place of inhibition, allowing yourself to express more freely? In what areas do you need more breathing room? How can you best enjoy your particular style of unique genius? How can your authentic gifts serve the greater good? How do you relate to humanity? Where are you being called to express your humanitarianism? How does your inner revolution serve the outer revolution?
Envision the Water Bearer standing before you, handing you the cup.
Now, pass it around.
Aquarius New Moon Blessings Upon you.
We will not achieve any higher-minded political goals until we transform the political process, and we cannot transform the political process without transforming ourselves.

CANCER FULL MOON: MOTHERING THE SOUL
The Full Moon arrives at 22 degrees of Cancer on Thursday, January 12 at 6:33 AM EST.
Full Moons are often accompanied by an entourage of other planetary players who both color and influence the sign the Moon embodies. While the sign the Moon occupies imbues the collective mood with the qualities of that particular sign, other planets involved in formation with the Full Moon will stir up a great deal more than what the sign represents.
This Full Moon is included within a dynamic and stressful aspect called The Grand Cardinal Square including the Sun, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto. Thus, the deep, emotional and quiet sensitivity of Cancer will be ignited by the vitalizing qualities of these planets. In the midst of Cancer’s quietude, there is an instinctive drive for self-expression, expansion, revolution and transformation.
At this time, Cancer the Crab is stirring the deep cauldron of emotion wherein lies the magic potion for emotional awakening and the nurturing of our soul.
Cancer is a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon. Therefore, this moon is right at home within its own rulership. The significant themes of this sign are emotions, tenderness, home, family, children, tradition, mothering, healing, connection and the nurturing of self and others. Cancer’s archetype is The Mother.
The natal Moon speaks to the manner in which we need to be nurtured, as well as the style in which we nurture others. Our distinct emotional needs will surface during this lunation. This fervent emergence could present a few surprises, some of which may even prove to be somewhat shocking. During this time, the Cancerian emotion is fueled with intensity, power, rebellion and expansion; a recipe for extremism, both personally and collectively. The Full Moon Grand Cardinal Cross offers us potential and opportunity, acting as a catalyst for emotional breakthrough leading to proactive engagement with our inner and outer world.
Wherever Cancer resides in your natal chart is an area of heightened sensitivity, maternal instinct, tenderness and vulnerability. Tremendous feeling accompanies the house in which Cancer occupies. It is here that this Full Moon will fall. This is the territory where the Full Moon will illuminate that which has been hidden from emotional view. The sign that your natal Moon is in will instruct you as to how to nurture and fulfill your deepest needs through this emotionally challenged upcoming three days. For all of its complexity, there is profound opportunity for emotional awakening, healing and greater awareness of how we can nurture ourselves as spiritual beings.
Are you in need of emotional release? How can you express these emotions with both integrity and tenderness? How do you nurture yourself? How do you nurture others? In which areas of your life do you experience a natural maternal instinct? Do you recognize and honor the Divine Feminine? How can you fulfill your own real needs? Are you mothering yourself? Are you mothering your own soul?
Cancer reminds us of The Mother, both personal and divine. This may be a time in which you reflect upon your own mother and the ways in which she has become a part of you. Revelations of the maternal lineage may abound providing an empowering perspective accompanied by renewed love and respect for your origins.
We are primed for the eruption of the smoldering lava of our inner volcano.
No matter the appearance, all is love. There is nothing to fear.
Cancer Full Moon Blessings Upon You.
