NEW MOON IN PISCES: Awakening To Other-Worldliness
“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” ~ Hermes Trismegistus ~
The New Moon arrives at 15 degrees of Pisces on Wednesday, March 6 at 11:51 AM EST.
We open this lunar cycle with an air of dreaminess and wonder. New Moons herald beginnings. This particular juncture offers us an opportunity to surrender and let go without the knowledge of concrete plans or happenings. While we are in the center of exactly where we need to be, three dimensional reality bears a burden at this time; for we are resonating with the higher realms that draw us to the transpersonal experience of our human existence. It is a time in which to integrate the essence of our spiritual nature with the authentic human being that we chose to inhabit as a means for soul growth and evolution. As we swirl with the transpersonal realms, life can be quite confusing and overwhelming at this time as we navigate our daily lives with its multitudes of details. The New Moon in Pisces will whisk us into our wishfulness, our wondering, our creativity, and our higher self. And within these experiences, there is chaos.
When planetary rulers of signs accompany the planets in those signs, we have an intensified experience of what that particular sign, in this case, Pisces expresses. The ruler of Pisces is Neptune. Neptune is traveling closely with the Sun and the Moon offering an invitation to access our higher nature.
Pisces The Fishes is a mutable feminine water sign ruled by Neptune. It embodies the qualities of compassion, sensitivity, empathy, psychic ability, creativity, otherworldliness, emotionality, and spiritual attunement. When Pisces is expressing within its shadow realm, the roles of martyr and victim can take hold; as Pisces carries the weight of the world, seeking to heal all sentient beings. One of the most profound lessons for Pisces is the realization that in order to heal the world, one must heal oneself. Pisces can also manifest as chaos and confusion. Psychological states of illusion and delusion are significant challenging qualities of this sign as well. A profound imagination can conjure both the positive and the negative experience. A direct line to The Divine is essential for Pisces to navigate earthly reality, for such spiritual guidance can facilitate the astute discernment that is required for personal fulfillment.
Somewhere within our natal chart, a realm of Pisces resides. We have all of the signs within our nativity. It is in understanding where they operate that we can flow more with the energy of our path. Wherever Pisces resides in your chart is a place of tremendous sensitivity and attunement. It may also present the challenges of confusion and disarray. The more one is attuned to Spirit, the clearer and more ordered life becomes. The New Moon in Pisces offers a fresh awareness of what resides there as you embark upon a new phase of your journey.
Accompanying the New Moon, there are other significant planetary events that will transpire. On this very day, Uranus will make its ingress into Taurus. When an outer planet changes signs, there is significant change both personally and collectively. Uranus represents breakthrough, change, revolution, and independence. It is also where attunement and concern for the collective is expressed. The key to navigating this challenging shift is to stay grounded.
Additionally, Mercury will also station retrograde on this day. As is well known, Mercury retrograde cycles can be both growthful and challenging times. Attunement to details is paramount. At the same time, it is an optimal time for inner processing, planning, and preparation. Exercise patience as there may be annoyance and inconvenience within one’s daily life. Mercury, The Messenger Of The Gods, is our guide through the Piscean realms, helping us to integrate multiple worlds.
There is a vast array of energy to manage at this time. Our emotional nature is challenged. Pisces is where our energy field is wide open. There may be weepiness for ourselves and the world. We may feel that life is out of control both personally and collectively. The integration of these simultaneous planetary occurrences requires both fortitude and gentleness. Within the plan, there is free will. The guidance for how to direct our free will is readily accessible.
Take a moment of quietude. Allow for the flow of inspiration. Surrender. Let go. Reach out to your Higher Power, to God, to The Universe.
Touch the tender places with tenderness.
PISCES NEW MOON BLESSINGS UPON YOU.

NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS: Keep Looking Up
“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul… ~ Hermes Trismegistus ~
The New Moon arrives at 15 degrees of Sagittarius on Friday, December 7 at 2:20 AM EST.
The New Moon is always accompanied by an air of mystery; a sense of the unknown; a spirit of anticipation. We are about to embark upon something new. Something has ended. It could be the expression of a facet of our psyche, a style of communication, a job, a relationship, or a way of thinking that no longer serves us. We are inhabiting our intimacy with self. This emotional attunement inspires introversion, introspection, and solitude. Such a state of being may be quite subtle. The Moon often is. As she touches upon the most intimate areas of our psyches, her energy is deeply personal. As is the Moon, so are we.
A time of great respite is upon us, as the expansive Sagittarius New Moon is fueling the collective psyche with faith, hope, and optimism. There is a sense of magic in the air. As we dwell within this season of lights, we gather a glimpse of our own light. Our inner and outer vision recognize the light that is within us all. We accept and cherish that we are light unto each other.
This increment of time offers us an upward swing to the matters and circumstances of our lives. The load is lifted and carried on the wings of angels.
New Moons are a time of planting seeds. The seeds in which we are about to plant are luminous. As we plant them, we are imbued with vision and trust.
We are moving through our lives, facing struggles, challenges, and lessons, rising to the occasion of what each day brings. We are functioning to capacity, coping, reckoning with what is. Out of the blue, we wake up one day knowing that all is well. It is as if the universe has pressed a cosmic automatic reset button within our being. We are primed for awakening. We see the bigger picture. We are gifted with crystalline wind chime awareness. This is such a time.
The New Moon in Sagittarius serves to invigorate our spirit.
Sagittarius The Centaur is a mutable masculine fire sign ruled by Jupiter. Sagittarius embodies the archetypes of The Wanderer, The Visionary, The Scholar, The Optimist, The Truthsayer, The Teacher, and The Healer. Sagittarius is a Lover Of Humankind. The Sagittarian speaks with a universal voice. They offer us inspiration, spirituality, optimism, faith, and truth.
Through the eyes of Sagittarius we see the bigger picture. There is fervency about society, humanity, and world affairs. Sagittarius expects us to expect a lot from each other.
The last New Moon before the beginning of a new year marks a period of preparation for the year to come. This is a time of deep deep self-reflection and contemplation of what may lie before us. Upon the closure of the Sagittarius season we arrive at the Winter solstice.
The Centaur is a poignant symbol. As creatures, we are bound to the earth. As spirits, we shoot our arrows beyond the clouds not knowing where they will land. The arrows are like prayers. Sagittarius reminds us of the human condition as both creatures of the earth and spirits of the heavens melded into one form. As Pierre Teilhard de Chardin so eloquently stated: “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
Wonder. Wander. Watch and listen. Choruses of angels are whispering our songs. The cup is half full. Our hearts are overflowing.
Keep looking up!
Sagittarius New Moon Blessings Upon You.

NEW MOON IN LIBRA: The Circle of Darkness and Light
“As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul… ~ Hermes Trismegistus ~
The New Moon arrives at 15 degrees of Libra on Monday, October 8 at 11:46 PM EDT.
The cyclical nature of life in all of its facets brings hope. We are in perpetual motion. Each phase of life has a beginning, a middle, and an end. We are swimming in circular motion circumventing the perennial process that both inspires and motivates the necessity for change in all of its myriad forms. The New Moon is the beginning of the circle which has no end.
Here we stand, having navigated the recent journey of this past lunation; different, wise, curious, and energized to begin yet another cycle of exploration. We are standing at the forefront of a deeper layer of potential for our inner growth. We are, all together, a New Moon unto ourselves. What is calling to you? Where must you travel to reach your your next level of awareness? In which areas do you wish to evolve? Just as the Moon, we are unto ourselves in constant flux. We will wax to fullness, recede into darkness, and begin anew. At this pivotal moment of the New Libra Moon, we are still in darkness, introspectively contemplating the seeds which we will sow. The ever constant Moon, our beloved satellite of the earth, teaches us that both the light and the darkness return to each other. And so it is with us.
Libra The Scales is a cardinal masculine air sign ruled by Venus. The archetypes of Libra are The Artist, The Lover, and The Peacemaker. Libra’s qualities include equilibrium, love, relational expression, aesthetic sensibility, inner harmony, peacefulness, fairness, partnering, inner balance, and social etiquette. Libra embodies the ability to embody consciously both the shadow and the light. The beauty of Libra is its exquisite expression of balance.
We embody all of these Libran qualities. They reside in a specific area of our natal chart. They are activated for each of us in different styles and manners. These qualities are profoundly available to incorporate into wherever this particular New Moon cycle falls for us. Knowledge of one’s natal chart is extremely helpful in understanding the specific area that is during this time, calling forth.
As with all lunar cycles, the qualities of the sign are always accompanied by other planets and configurations that add both texture and complexity to our current experience. We are meant to carry these other facets into the lunar cycle, thus developing those planetary qualities within the realms in which they wish to express. Of particular importance to this lunation is Venus, the ruler of Libra, which has entered its retrograde cycle. As the planetary ruler of Libra, Venus and the challenges that she faces figure ever more prominently in her expression of Libra at this time.
A retrograde cycle is likened to the concept of the underworld as it leads us into the more unconscious dimensions of that planet, thus into the darkness, where we can embrace our shadow with love and acceptance. This is an essential undertaking in order for our return to the light. Venus embarks upon the underworld every 18 months for 40 days and 40 nights. As Venus is in retrograde motion, our relationships take on new meaning. We contemplate those with whom we are intimate. We evaluate our relational patterns. We look into the relationship that we have with ourselves. We gaze upon the other with new eyes. As with all underworldly experiences, not only must we accept our own darkness, we must allow our loved ones their darkness as well. This is where true love in its myriad forms resides. Libran love requires that we embrace this duality.
Pluto is closely accompanying this lunation. Pluto’s close companionship with the Sun and the Moon intensifies even further the underworld experience. How do we embark upon this without fear? Fear of loss. Fear of death. Fear of each other. Fear of life itself. It is only in meeting our shadow with open arms that we can find our way through the tunnel that leads us to the light. It takes courage, faith, and non-attachment to how we may behold ourselves. No one wishes to face the darker aspects of their character. However, in doing so, we emancipate our soul.
As we navigate both the light and the dark, we grow our love to fruition. We sweep out the cobwebs that have been hiding in the corners of our psyche. We rise from the ashes. We shed our old skin. We gaze into the mirror and look upon our new complection. We are winter. We are summer. We are autumn and spring.
In both shadow and in light, we are equally magnificent.
Libra New Moon blessings upon you.

The New Moon arrives at 17 degrees of Virgo on Sunday, September 9 at 2:01 PM EDT.
As each New Moon arrives, we are stirred by a fresh facet of universal consciousness. There is an area within our lives which has reached completion. It is time to begin anew. There are whispers of our names upon the air. Listen. Can you hear your name? Universal intelligence is guiding us upon the next leg of our journey. At this time, there is a hidden roadmap. Over the next three days, this cosmic map will unfold before us, providing guidance and direction.
The New Moon is a time of deep introspection. While communing intimately with the interior self, knowledge of our authentic divine nature awakens. As this knowledge pours forth, we are in turn awakened to it.
The ground has been prepared. The seeds are planted. Upon our own steadfastness within this new awareness, a gradual process of becoming will lead to fruition. We may not feel our legs just yet. When three days have passed, when the Moon emerges into her Crescent phase, we too will begin to emerge. For now; hunker down. And listen.
Virgo The Virgin is a feminine mutable earth sign ruled by Mercury. Virgo is the quintessential sign of service unto others. The Virgoan path is one of helpership. As a sign possessed of humility and quietude, Virgo reminds us that in order to guide others, we must first look within. For we cannot become what we do not recognize. We cannot give what we do not have. We cannot impart what we do not know. We can only draw upon an inner knowing infused by the heart. Herein lies a mastery of serving each other and the world.
As the New Moon’s close companion is Neptune, it is a time of tremendous sensitivity. Neptune is the planet of otherworldliness, creativity, mysticism, spirituality, empathy, and collective suffering. Virgo and Neptune are perfect cohorts; as together they facilitate grounded compassionate awareness. We are seeing beyond three dimensional reality whereby the meaning of our incarnation goes far beyond our personal desires to a strong and fervent yearning to serve. The cries of the world are upon us. An attunement to the divine unification of all life is coursing through our veins.
This New Moon serves as a grounding force whereby we have the ability to hold onto ourselves while extending ourselves at the same time. We are feeling the woman in Saudi Arabia who has been arrested. We are feeling immigrant parents and their children, estranged from each other. We are feeling the animals, whose habitat is being stolen away. We are feeling those who are victims in the throes of brutal wars.
While this New Moon is heightening our awareness to such circumstances in the world, this awareness is always upon us. It may not always be at the edge of our consciousness, but it is there. As inherently psychic beings, everyone knows everything. We are one psychic organism. At this time the universe is doing a cosmic reset within our personal lives as well as in all of humanity. We are primed for an expanded awareness of everything and everyone. From this new awareness emanates the desire to become better so that we can be better for each other.
There is also an opportunity for an expanded awareness of joy. Suffering and joy are not mutually exclusive. We can walk hand in hand with both. In doing so, we bear even greater gifts to the world. As we attune to sadness and joy; the personal and the collective; let us know that service is not always a grand gesture. Service is an attitude. It can inhabit all areas of life with every breath that we take.
Do you long to contribute in service? What do you deeply care about? Which area of your life is being honed and perfected? How can you best serve your body? Where do you reside in quiet joy? How can you accomplish a small task with great love? To who, what, and where are you being called?
In such chaotic times as these, know that we have ourselves, we have each other, and we have the world. That’s a whole lot.
Just show up.
The world needs you

FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN: The Soul’s Mountain
The mantram of the astrologer is: AS ABOVE, SO BELOW. This is my prayer, my incantation; as I serve to translate the divine urging of this sacred juncture that is set before us.
The Full Moon arrives at 6 degrees of Capricorn on Thursday, June 28 at at 12:52 AM EDT
The splendor and magnificence of a Full Moon transports us from the ordinary to the extraordinary. While Full Moon cycles provide us with high energy and emotional magnitude, they also stir the cauldron of our multidimensional souls; for the soul contains a potpourri of dualistic ingredients. The Full Moon is a magnificent mirror which provides us with an opportunity to look within; to really look. As we look deeply within, we are graced with the ability to look without as well; for Full Moons are quite relationally revealing; offering insight, illumination, and awakening.
We often traverse our lives in a sort of trance state, weighted down by emotional stagnation; an accumulation of wounds, sorrows, and woes. At this juncture we are suffering from a state of ennui, a world weariness which often leads us to boredom, depression, lethargy, and restlessness. We are also filled with a sense of heightened responsibility within our own lives as well as for the collective conditions of humanity. While this Capricorn Full Moon, fueled by Saturn, will highlight these themes within our own lives, we are imbued with the opportunity for both fervent and disciplined emotional expression. As we honor the realm of the Moon which is our emotional milieu we pave our own road to healing and self-realization.
The cosmic tone is one of elevated seriousness and the call to situations which require great responsibility. We may not exactly welcome additional responsibility, however, rising to the challenge of what is set before us links us to true devotion of the moment. The Capricorn Moon will be the grounding force providing us with steadfastness, patience, and adherence to the path. Thus, we look to the qualities of Capricorn to see us through this arduous and trans-formative interlude of time.
Capricorn The Sea-Goat is a cardinal feminine earth sign ruled by Saturn. Capricorn embodies the archetypes of The Hermit, The Father, and The Prime Minister. Capricorn loves a challenge, even in the face of being daunted by what lies ahead. The Sea-Goat is an ancient mythological creature with great stamina. He will climb the highest mountain and swim the widest ocean to arrive at his destination of accomplishment.
Capricorn needs solitude in order to commune with the deep complexity that it’s ruler, Saturn, brings. While there is a tremendous desire for great accomplishment, there is also a deep seated fear of failure. Capricorn is daunted by the unconscious life; that place deep within our psyche. It is here where one is being called to express in this lifetime. The time for realization of our destiny is now. Within the patterns of our destiny, there is free will.
During this lunation, Saturn, Capricorn’s ruler, is coupled with the Moon. This carries a heightened tone of seriousness for Capricorn. Saturn requires much of us during our lifetime. It speaks to discipline, integrity, accomplishment, and the sincere intent to walk the path.Whatever that path may be, and wherever that path may lead, Saturn only wishes for us to stand in our own authority as we make this incarnational journey. Some questions we may ask ourselves at this time: Who is the author of my own life? And if I am not the author of my life, who is then authoring it for me? Am I living from a place of of my own self-authority? Am I expressing my life force from a place of true authenticity? Where along the way do the brambles, sticks, and stones need clearing so that I may align myself with my soul’s true calling? If nothing else, we are embracing this time with a seriousness that is both sacred and necessary. The ever seeming mountain that stands before us, once climbed, is our gateway to karmic cleansing.
This Capricorn Full Moon cycle is facilitating our journey with the drive, strength and grounded determination that we need to move inner mountains. By doing so, we will clear a path. Once this path unfolds before us we will find determined strength to climb what we have once perceived as an unreachable peak. Once we reach the summit and see what lies on the other side, we will not be disappointed. Even if the journey has been a bit messy, a long awaited realization will have congealed to perfection.
Capricorn needs solitude in order to commune with the deep complexity that it’s ruler, Saturn, brings. While there is a tremendous desire for great accomplishment, there is also a deep seated fear of failure. Capricorn is daunted by their own greatness. Wherever Capricorn resides in your natal chart, is an area of great profundity, one which must be adhered to from a place of authenticity and self-authority. It is an area where you are being called to high achievement. And yet, this very realm may be challenged along the way with limitations, setbacks and delays. As a result, Capricorn can suffer from the proverbial inferiority complex. One of Capricorn’s most significant evolutionary tasks is to stay the course with the understanding that there are no shortcuts in attaining one’s goal. Capricorn’s ruler, Saturn, will test one’s character and self-confidence over and over again. This is when we call upon our inner Sea-Goat.
A most challenging three days is upon us. The Capricorn Moon will be the grounding force providing us with steadfastness, patience, and adherence to the path. Thus, we look to the qualities of Capricorn to see us through this arduous and trans-formative interlude of time.
Capricorn The Sea-Goat embodies the qualities of authority, discipline, discipleship, solitude, accomplishment, melancholy, seriousness, determination, tenacity, boundaries, limitations and challenges. When Capricorn is out of balance, the less evolved expressions of aggressiveness, competitiveness, selfishness, avarice, depression and emotional stagnation arise. As a cardinal earth sign ruled by Saturn.
As the Moon’s softness hosts Saturn, we have an opportunity to sculpt an emotional form wherein lies the interior of profound feelings. A deep and responsible relationship with the self contributes to the inter-relational experience colored by love and expressed with integrity.
During this challenging three day interval of heaviness, know that when we pick up the load, our lives become en-lightened.
Within the realm of density, there is ebullient light. The permutation of density is destiny. Pick up your destiny, wrap your arms around it, and carry it to the mountain
Capricorn Full Moon Blessings Upon You.
With faith, discipline, and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.

FULL MOON IN LIBRA: Balancing The Heart
The Full Moon arrives at 10 degrees of Libra on Saturday, March 31 at 8:36 AM EDT.
Wherever the Moon is, there is splendor. No matter her phase; no matter her appearance, she is magnificent. The Full Moon phase is perhaps the most splendid of all. Her radiant orb looms largely above and upon us. We are filled with a sense of constancy. She evokes all manner of layered emotions, filtering the particles of confusion and unfulfillment from our psychic atmosphere. Her replete presence calls forth from us full spectrum consciousness in which to inform and inspire our process of transformation. From here, we proceed with vision of tremendous magnitude.
One can liken this to an arduous yet successful mountain climb. We are standing at the top of the mountain with a clear unfettered view of the night’s spectacular sky, reflecting the radiant light which we all embody; yet, in which we darken with the unconscious threads of self-destruction which tether us to rocky ground. Herein lies a choice. We can view and experience the multidimensional realms before us; or, we can remain in the limited oppressive land of three dimensional reality which says, “All that you see is all that there is.” It is our choice. We all have the capacity and strength to shift our awareness. We only have to embrace this optimal cycle which is upon us.
During the pinnacle of the Moon’s unwavering presence, light is shed upon our questions and concerns. A message is delivered to a relational circumstance or situation long pondered. Perhaps there has been something in particular that has been looming largely in the invisible background of our heart’s domain.
That which is repressed becomes distorted. When we ignore the pure energy of enlightenment that the Full Moon offers to us, we can potentially become fueled with a sort of mania driven by the irrational forces of the unconscious mind.
As each zodiac sign has an evolved manifestation coupled with a distinct shadow manifestation, Libra does so no less. Libra’s shadow emerges within the realm of relationships most of all. Libra fears conflict, thus prone to over-compromise.This often results in people pleasing of the highest order. Thus, an opportunity to engage in healthy discourse can seem daunting. This in turn can be an act of self-betrayal.
Libra longs for love; love of the courtly sort: the state of aesthetic love which emanates longing for balance and equality. When the scales are tipped, the Libran heart is torn asunder.
Wherever Libra resides in your star chart, there is tremendous longing for true connection and partnership. It is an area in which the aesthetics of grace, tenderness, and true partnership are both required and lived forthrightly.
During this highly relational Full Moon, Mercury, The Messenger of The Gods, provides steady compansionship, offering a prime opportunity for open hearted communication. Mercury is a fine companion for the Moon, as he lightens her up and assists with an ever heightened awareness of the destructiveness of dualistic thinking. Both Libra and Mercury can see beyond the extreme rationale that only serves to divide and separate us from each other, thus mending the bridge to true compassion and understanding. This is a time to grow beyond duality.
The recent weeks have been heavily fueled by Mars. Anger has been palpable. There may be regrets relating to our own words and behavior as well as challenges to forgive the irate behavior and unkind words of others. Mars reminds us of our inner warrior, demanding the delineation of boundaries within the realm of passion. The heart centered Libra energy is challenged at this time with a field of aggression. There is room for both, as they each are necessary. In pure Libra fashion, we can unite them as an efficacious collaboration for balancing relationship, both with the self and with others.
The heart has four chambers. Are they balanced? Do they flow between each other? We can hold it all, as long as those chambers have equal distribution of the myriads of emotional understanding and lucid expression. We have a choice. Making choices poses challenges for Libra. So the feeling realm must be invoked by the higher self. For it is the heart that truly knows.
As we embrace the first Full Moon of Spring, commune with both the light and the shadows that the Moon casts before us. They are reminiscent of the light and shadow that we exchange with each other.
We all are mirrors. Who is gazing back at you? What do you wish to reflect upon the world? First we must look within our own mirror. Only when we embrace the reflection of the self, can we receive the reflection of another. Mutual reflection met with receptivity balances the heart. The balanced heart balances the world. When the world is balanced, our hearts are set free.
Libra Full Moon Blessings Upon You.

FULL MOON IN VIRGO: Healing Into Helpfulness
The Full Moon arrives at 11 degrees of Virgo on Thursday, March 1 at 7:51 PM EST.
The Moon is our timekeeper. She rotates around our blue planet like a slow waltz. With grace and mystique, she reveals to us the lesser and greater aspects of her physical being; all of which are reflections of cyclical life in its myriad forms. When full, she looms large and picturesque above the earth. She is the light keeper and the light giver.
The same goes for us. Sometimes we live and express from the full light of our pure essence. Other times, we are hidden in the cavernous darkness of our psyches. We need to traverse both of these worlds. We cannot grow while standing still within one stagnant dimension of consciousness. Internal growth is fluid, ever yielding new shapes, forms, and dimensions of our ever evolving soul.
The Full Moon is an opportunity for us to shine light upon an area of our consciousness which has remained hidden. After the travails of darkness, we see the light. Something that has weighed heavily upon our shoulders has been lifted. The illumination of The Full Moon allows us to put it all down as we engage with an awareness that resonates with personal truth. What has been incubating within is born anew.
Time is traveling at unparallelled speed. This earthly journey is a fast track. As we are still in the midst of the greater eclipse cycle; emotions, circumstances, and personal crisis have been looming large in our lives. Eclipses are like catapults. Events unravel like shooting stars. Our awareness soars at the speed of light. We have been undergoing a cosmic cleanse.
As the Full Moon in Virgo arrives, we will find ourselves landing upon the soft earth. We pick ourselves up, dry our tears, dust ourselves off, and engage with self-nurturing; as we integrate and synthesize this most challenging time passage from which we are now emerging. In the process of caring for ourselves, we are energized. Within the fluidity of our being, there is solidity. When we unconditionally show up for ourselves, we inadvertently show up for others. It may surprise you as to how greatly one’s authentic presence serves another. As we navigate self-responsibility within the realm of our own healing process, it comes across in translation; mirroring to other beloved beings their true worth. When we heal ourselves, we assist others with a possibility that they too can heal. Being deeply of service requires looking deeply within.
Virgo The Virgin is a mutable feminine earth sign ruled by Mercury. The qualities of Virgo include, kindness, patience, discrimination, helpfulness, mindful servitude, perfectionism, groundedness, healing, healthful living, and humility. The archetypes of Virgo are The Servant, The Analyst, The Hermit, The Healer, and The Perfectionist.
The Virgin is greatly misunderstood in popular culture and at times, even in the realm of Astrology. The word “virgin” means “whole unto herself.” While purity is greatly associated with Virgo, it’s meaning is not intended as a state of one’s sexuality or lack of primary partnership; but rather, an awareness that stems from independence, strength, and fortitude. Virgos are some of the strongest and most tenacious people you will ever meet. Wherever Virgo is in your chart, there is integrity, independence, and a particularly gifted area in which you are of efficacious service to others. The Full Moon is landing in that particular arena of your chart at this time; providing an opportunity to engage with one’s self-sufficiency and independence, coupled with an awareness of where and how you inherently offer profound service to others. The spirit of service is the quintessential quality of Virgo.
We have been traveling with a fleet of Pisces planets which serve as Virgo’s polarity. The Full Moon is accompanied by The Sun, Neptune, Mercury, Venus, and Chiron. Neptune is looming largest among them all, carrying the Full Moon through what may have been uninhabited waters. Amidst the grounded stability of Virgo, there are also high tidal frequencies within the watery realm of emotion. We are endowed with the gifts of feeling, mysticism, and spiritual expansion. It may at times even feel as though we are traveling through another world, one which may seem foreign, and yet, filled with enchantment. Reality is hard to grapple with as the Neptunian influence is one of high idealism inspiring us to save the world. But first, we must save ourselves.
The expanse and immensity of the water element that is upon us is beyond words; for the realm of water knows no language other than what it deeply feels within it’s fathomless depths. Sometimes, only feeling is necessary for our growth without the headiness of words and explanations. As Virgo and Pisces partner with each other, we have the opportunity to remain grounded while surfing the unchartered sea.
We all know and understand the pain we feel in response to another’s suffering. Our task at this time is to learn to tolerate our own pain in the face of another’s suffering. Within this capacity, we may be more fully present without the personal experiential chaos which emerges from our desire to heal the other. Healing is spontaneous. It is born of the loving presence of our authenticity. Healing is helping.
It is a time of reckoning. What has long been felt already deemed, has made it’s reprise and shaken up our lives. Allow this reprise as you would a gorgeous passage in music. Soon it will resolve to it’s original key or it may modulate into a new seascape where we can sail upon calmer waters.
It is a time in which to hoist your white sail and surrender.

NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE IN AQUARIUS: On Being Human
This writing is dedicated to our humanity. May we wrap our arms around our brilliant human selves so that we may embrace humanity and our oneness with each other.
The New Moon Solar Eclipse arrives at 27 degrees of Aquarius on Thursday, February 15 at 4:05 PM EST.
During the past week, we have been experiencing the midpoint between the eclipse cycle that has been upon us since the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo which occurred two weeks ago. Midpoint periods are especially potent times linking the past to the present; while at the same time catapulting us into the future. This eclipse cycle is part of an even greater eclipse cycle in close relationship to The Great American Eclipse in Leo which occurred on August 21rst. Throughout this entire time, we have been preparing for life changing events as pathways to the discovery of our own brilliance. Our greater personal expression and self- fulfillment have been ensnared within a dimension of suffering we have known all too well. We have reached the final conclusion; there is no other option other than to soar beyond the pain of past experience. It is a time of tremendous release.
This New Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius is in exact opposition to the Full Solar Eclipse in Leo of August past, thus bringing us full circle to matters which we can no longer supress or ignore. It is a time of departures, reckonings, life changes, grief, and acceptance; all of which ultimately facilitate realignment to the true and authentic self. Full spectrum vision is activated as we reunite our soul’s inherent longing for the expression of our pure and unfettered essence.
Perhaps it has been a sorrowful time, or a turbulent time, or a remorseful time. Perhaps it has been a time of fearfulness. Whatever the case may be, it has not been an easy time. We have been pedaling backwards in an attempt to control a long past consequential outcome that still may cut to the core. Upon further examination, it dawns upon us that these very circumstances and beloved people have completely served our soul; and we have served theirs. Once we clear away the clouds of our distorted perceptions, we will greet with positive anticipation the luminous reawakening that awaits us.
At this time of excavating the rich interior of our lives, we crawl between the stalactites and stalagmites deeply embedded in the crevices of our psyche. These calcified impressions of disillusionment propel us to confront the pain that has been lying dormant within the confines of our psychic cave. Once we are down and in, there is buried treasure. Our tears have turned to jewels.
Aquarius The Water-Bearer is a fixed masculine air sign. It is the sign of humanity. In order to express our humanity within the larger collective, we must first embrace our own unique humanness. Within the realm of our own human dimension, we may feel flawed, wounded, remorseful, angry, and sorrowful. All of it is bubbling to the surface; a stew of multiple ingredients that only serves to release us if we fully partake of life’s feast. As we digest all that is there, we savor what is both joyful and sorrowful. Through the grace of acceptance, we free ourselves of what no longer serves our higher good or the good of all concerned.
What has been stirring within these turbulent and uncomfortable feelings are the tides of change; rip tides that are pulling us beneath the frothy oceanic depths of emotion. We may feel as though we will be swept out to sea, never to emerge again. The magnetic waters are cleansing us; setting us upon a new uncharted course; one in which our wisdom and compassion will navigate with skill and heart. We will propel to the surface cleansed and renewed. Such has been the experience of the current times as we stride through a most prolific, profound and emotional eclipse cycle. Eclipses portend irrevocable change.
At this juncture, this solar eclipse is propelling us toward complete release. Release the past. Release the present. Release the future. We have within our capability, an opportunity for a newly awakened life shimmering with the brilliance of our being.
As we mount each day with courage, pray that someone else may walk in our moccasins. Pray that we may walk in the moccasins of another. Step by step, we will know each other. Step in step, we will together sail the skies of enlightenment. We will land upon the Aquarian cloud where the Water-Bearer is pouring forth the holy water of our salvation.
Aquarius New Moon Blessings Upon You.

“If our hearts are ready for anything, we can open to our inevitable losses, and to the depths of our sorrow. We can grieve our lost loves, our lost youth, our lost health, our lost capacities. This is part of our humanness, part of the expression of our love for life. ” ~ Tara Brach ~
“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.” ~ Maya Angelou ~

FULL SUPERMOON LUNAR ECLIPSE IN LEO: The Light-ness of Being
The Full Super Moon Full Lunar Eclipse arrives at 11 degrees of Leo on Wednesday, January 31 at 8:26 AM EST.
A Super Full Moon Eclipse is upon us. It is a time in which to more fully realize the en-light-enment that we each inherently embody. Our recognition of this luminous dimension of the true and authentic self activates the light that we exude to others and to the world. Our personal radiance heals. This embodied light is rising fully within us.
This is the second Full Moon of this month. The first full Moon was on January 1rst. Two Full Moons emerging on the first and last days of the first month of the new year bear great significance, providing a heightened opportunity for us to wake up and see what is really there. What is really really there? What have we not yet seen or recognized within our own lives that was standing before our eyes? This once unseen dimension may have existed for eternity. As this is an eclipse, our revelation will be more than one could have ever imagined. Eclipses enhance our emotional awareness. We will discover some facet of our psyche that was hidden in the realm of the subconscious. Our hearts pound with emotion. And yet, we are enlivened by them. They are long lost friends who celebrate their recognition. As they emerge from the darkness, we greet them.
Lunar eclipses stir the cauldron of emotion. We are being alchemized. Emotional truth is the concoction of the soul.
Revelations which ultimately transform us, may be painful. And yet, the broken heart is an open heart. In the midst of what may seem harsh and unbearable lies Leo’s expansive domain of heart. Our travails through the darkness eventually unravel into an emergence of light. As the shadow of the earth passes across the face of the Moon, we can use the temporary darkness to embrace our own darkness; for soon the Moon’s full spectrum light of the Sun will once again show her radiant glowing face. The Sun and the Moon are cohorts. They emulate the lightness of being.
When we are born, we emerge from the womb of the Moon into the light of the Sun. There are times in which the Moon must be revisited in order to go inside and comb through our inner life. Then, we once again return to the Sun. When we allow ourselves to contract, there is expansion. When there is expansion, there is contraction. This is the cycle of life.
Leo is a fixed masculine fire sign ruled by the Sun. It’s qualities include charisma, leadership, humor, theatrical style, light-ness, artistic talent, expression, grandeur, royalty, dynamism, flamboyance, ebullience, and courage. Leo’s dark side tends toward egotism, arrogance, pride, cruelty, and the unwillingness to compromise.
As human beings, no matter what our sign, we all fall into darkness during difficult times; or when perhaps we are feeling threatened by something or someone real or imagined. Each and every Sun sign has the capacity for the full embodied light of creative loving expression. Leo’s essential mission is to mirror to us the magnificence of our own being through the expression of our essential purpose.
The relational planet, Venus, is accompanying this lunation. We receive the other’s light while at the same time, exuding our own. The past karma of relational instability has risen to a compassionate realization of our partnership with each other as the facilitators of personal growth and soul-full transformation.
We are traveling at the speed of light.
May you find yourself shining brightly within your own being.
Leo Full Moon Blessings Upon You

CANCER SUPER FULL MOON: Emotional Alchemy
This writing is dedicated to The Divine Mother. May we know her. May she guide our emotions as they flow into the current of oceanic love.
The Super Full Moon arrives at 11 degrees of Cancer on Monday, January 1 at 9:24 PM EST.
What better way to start the New Year than with a Full Super Moon in all of her luminescence? Warmth and radiance pour forth. We are standing in the spotlight of our own illumination.
A supermoon is a term coined in modern astrology to define an event in which a Full Moon makes the closest approach to the Earth on its elliptical orbit. During such events, like the tides, our emotions run high and strong. We have been swimming vigorously through whirlpools of tears; both of joy and of sorrow. Propelled by our awareness of the fragility of life, our feelings are washed ashore. We greet them at the shoreline.
As Moon ruled Cancer is the quintessential sign of pure emotional sensitivity; our emotions are immeasurably heightened. We have pristine vision of our personal palette of sentiment that perhaps has been invisible to us in the past. Our very beings are an array of love, joy, hope, anticipation, sorrow, regret, and the daunting awareness that time is ever fleeting. We vow to cherish each and every moment. We treasure the precious people in our lives. Every-thing and every-one become even more meaningful to us. The gates of our hearts are swung more fully open.
Life looms large at The New Year. Life looms even greater during a Super Full Moon. As we combine these events, there is a sacred marriage in service to our own spiritual purification.
We think of beginning anew at the New Moon, and yet, this Full Moon is a pure beginning. As we enter the New Year infused with our own sentience, we emerge from a place of confusion into an enlightened emotional landscape. This lunation takes us to a highly elevated juncture; a towering precipice from which to leap into the oceanic waters of Divine Love. We have been swimming vigorously through whirlpools of multifaceted tears propelled by our awareness of the fragility of life. Now, our feelings are washed ashore. We greet them at the shoreline.
Cancer is a cardinal feminine water sign ruled by the Moon. Therefore, this Cancer Moon is right at home within her own rulership. The significant facets of this sign are emotions, tenderness, home, family, children, tradition, mother, healing, connection and the nurturing of self and others. Cancer’s archetypes are The Mother, The Healer, and The Invisible One.
The softness of this time is imbued with a Grand Water Trine from the Moon to Neptune to Mars-Jupiter and back to the Moon. Trines are geometric forms comprising a perfect triangle. They are beacons of flow and ease and grace. Water is the element of emotion, empathy, compassion, receptivity, and psychic sensitivity. This Mother of all Moons is keeping kind company with her planetary companions. As they accompany her, they too are assisting us so that we may access the Divine Feminine within as we embrace all that is Yin. As we soften, we open our arms and graciously receive.
Much has been settled within us. As the waters calm, there is a new seascape of the life which flows forth. Tears may spill. Let them flow. Tears cleanse our perception. Perception is our window to the world.
Light transcendant is cast upon our path; a moonglow like no other.
The Moon is within our reach. We only have to reach within.
Cancer Super Full Moon Blessings Upon You.
